Nose licker
So..... i'm curious to know if i have the only Chi that loves to give kisses and lick you up your nose. June absolutely loves to lick up peoples nose's. Every morning just as I wake up, she'll crawl out from under our covers(yes she sleeps with us) and go striaght for the nose. Sometimes it can get pretty intense and i have to stop her or I cant breath. I know she means well but gosh.
So, anyone else?

Sally is a nose licker too. She looks at me with those sweet little eyes and wham! Lick up the nose. If she can get a couple of lick in without being pushed away she goes in for a nip on my nose. Those sharp little baby teeth hurt.
My two boys are also guilty of this! Wonder what the deal is with nose licking and chi's?

You are definitely not alone. Those tongues of theirs are so fast, you have no time to react! And they manage to hit it just right! It doesn't always happen to the nose, but the mouth too!

Wow! She must have some reach with that tongue! Oliver does the same thing, and I thought he was the only one until now. It's so funny, but can also be a pain in the butt, especially when you need to breathe. Maybe they think they are doing us a favor by "cleaning it out" for us. LoL

Yeh I have a licker too!! as soon as I open my eyes Teddy is there! he got up early with his Dad this morning and I heard him coming he is like a little race horse he charges through the bedroom door straight up on the bed and all over my face!! Im sure they know they are going to make you laugh! mind its not always the reaction he gets.lol

Yep Kip does it too. Mercy June does have a gene simmons tongue. Kips isn't nearly that long, but he manages to block my air flow once in a while. It's funny for the first 2 or 3 seconds then it's gotta stop. lol

Not really. But Abby does like to lick eyes. Thankfully she hasn't been able to actually lick the eye itself, only the surrounding areas.

Luke is also an ear licker, he seems to always somehow work his way from your mouth to your nose to your ear.

Sammi is in charge of eye licking. She will stand on my chest and push my glasses up and go right for my eyes. Now my toes belong to Happy but that's private. LOL

o how cute lol...i call niya the booger patrol...she also loves to lick my inside of my ears lol...o and toes...i guess its a small dog thing...well look at this way you dont have to spend xtra money on kleenex and they actually get the ones all the way up there that you cant get lol....

Wow this is too funny my daughter was ust laughing about his last night calling our Chis tongues like worms up our noses. I dont understand why they do this. Our littlest ones do it the most.

I think I figured it out...It's a pack thing...they are taking care of us...have you ever watched dogs take care of each other? (or cats, for that matter...) They "groom" every where...not only is it to clean, but it's a sign of love and respect...
just my 2 cents on the subject...
