I've noticed a couple times today that after regular voiding (pooing) he will then void some more but its clear liquidy but almost a snotty consistancy if that makes sense and then he will drag his butt on the ground...
I have been slowly switching over his food could this be it?

He is 12 weeks today and weighs 9.9 lbs
He was wormed so hopefully it isn't that..
He has an appt on Tuesday.

ps) He does like to eat grass when outside... he has a fetish with it I guess... would that do it?

Hi Bren. Read in this forum about the anal glands, and poop shoots being emptied. I'm sure you'll find that helpful. I don't know much about this, so I'm sure the other members will. But check out the anal glands topic.

Okay He had a Normal bowel today and just now in the house he had an accident and it was semi-runny but what scared me is I could see some traces of blood in there and then in a spot a few inches away he had a white frothy pile too...
It seems its back and forth normal bowel loose bowel....
He has an appt for Tuesday with the vet..
He is acting normal .....

Tuesday's a long ways away if your dog is bleeding! My sister's German Shepard started to bleed, and it was an intestional infection. She made it to the vet in time.

I hope your vet knows about the blood.

Eating grass is normal and although there are theories why they eat grass, it's not certain.

I hope little Naz is OK.

I should add to make sure Naz is eating and drinking normally and eagarly too. :)

Also, Jen's right...check out the topic she mentioned. That will answer many of your concerns. :D

Bleeding is not good Brenda, sorry to scare you but I think you should call your vet immediately and ask them. Although runny poo is really normal in puppies especially when being moved onto hard food and in changing food, blood is not normal. The bowls will just take a week or two to get to normal. Please let us know what you find out.

Brenda, have you looked into pet insurance? Although they do not pay an entire bill they pay a portion of many many different problems. I have veterinary pet insurance, their website is http://www.petinsurance.com/. You can choose your plan and no contracts so you can quit at any time. I have the one where it is only $19.50/month and have gotten so much out of it for regular vet visits such as yours. The only thing that sucks about it is that they have a list for every type of breed of congential problems. Lucius' condition is not covered at all on this b/c it is considered congenital, BUT it does pay like $65 spay/neuter, a portion of every shot and many emergency illnesses and accidents.
