Hi friends!

We haven't done one of these in a while, so mom thought you guys might enjoy seeing the kind of days we have at work.

Let's see, first we come in and eat some breakfast-nothing fancy, just some Entree on a paper towel

Then we sit in the sun and help mom check the treat bins

This is Tally's favorite part! "Mommy, please can I have just one?"

If we're lucky, a chihuahua friend or two comes in and we get to play (as long as there are no big doggies around). We met a NEW friend named Daisy today and Heuser had LOTS of fun playing with her!

Daisy is a 9 month old, SC, red fawn, 3.5 lbs, little girl and was the sweetest thing!

And at the end of the day, the chihuahuas are always ready to go and Heuser gives me "the look" that signals its time to GO!

And that's (another) day of our life, thanks for sharing it with us!

We had a freshly retired Greyhound come in the other day for socialization whose owners claimed it wouldn't eat anything but raw chicken like it had been fed at the track...we tried almost EVERY treat in the store until I thought of our Entree-and the dog LOVED it! It was so cool to see it first acknowledge, then take food from my hand, and at the end, there was even an oh-so-slight wag of the tail!

As for the pawprints, they are super-cute aren't they?! I LOVE the tile and we get requests for info on it all the time...the only thing that sucks is that dirt quickly gets caught in all the prints and once every couple of months, we have to clean them with toothbrushes!!! Yuck! Atleast my boss makes it fun by providing food and "refreshments" while we do it after hours and with everyone's help, it doesn't take that long!

What great pictures, and what a fun day they have with you at work. I know exactly what you mean about 'the look'. My pups come to work with me, and I get 'the look' everyday, when it is almost time to go home. Chi's are so funny!!

I know, isn't that so funny? Its like you can feel their little eyeballs boring into you to mind-meld you "its time to go home mommy, its time to go home!" Heuser and Tally know that when I start sweeping and run the register to count money, its time to go and get all excited and play with their toys or chew on their bones right under my feet just to be sure that I don't sneak away without them!
