OMG, they are so adorable! Do they love eachother? I want another chi. How do you get them to pose so well?

As show dogs, they both know the command "Hold" as in FREEZE right there. So it works really well for placing them for pictures too! Heuser also knows all his obedience commands like sit, down, paw, sit-up, speak, etc. so he has always been easy to photograph in a pose. Tally on the other hand just doesn't get commands like "sit" but if I put her in a sit and tell her to "Hold," she'll stay there all day! HA! Silly doggy! I start teaching them "Hold" by getting their attention with a treat in my mouth and reward them as soon as they stopped trying to get to it and just stopped and looked at me. From there, I gradually increased the amount of time they had to be still and focused on me before getting their reward and now they both stay for up to a minute (or longer if in a comfortable position).

Heuser had a great day and enjoyed himself very much! Thanks for all your love and admiration of my cute babies! I think I'll keep them around a while, lol!

On another age note, we just found out today that Blanca (Tally's mom) is only 7 years old (we thought she was eight)! So my friend Heidi is very happy because she has totally fallen in love with her and can't imagine her getting older, lol! I TOLD her once she got a chihuahua it would be the love of her life! HA! She has Chiwawa-itis!
