Here's a good time to start a poison thread!

I can't believe what I did! My allergies flared up two days ago, so here comes the sneezing attacks and coughing. Last night, I took a cough drop and left the unclosed bag out on my night stand. So all this time it's been sitting there. Roman always wants them when we take them. Roman's dad just found him starting to take the entire bag of them! I feel so bad of how this could have turned out.

I like to think I'm always so careful with him, but this shows me other. I slipped up so bad here.   I'm so thankful Terry found him in time.

It only takes one tiny mistake.

Please add more poisons around the house or outdoors you can think of.

Toxic plants need to be put up high or discarded entirely. Artificial plants can be sprayed with bitter apple, but are a favorite of young pups to tear up. Swallowing pieces of silk or plastic can cause serious damage, so I usually put them up as well and introduce them slowly, one at a time. Also, remove any foil around the containers and any decorative rocks that may be in the pot.
