Remember the story of more than 100 chi's found in one house, well those chi's are all cleaned up and ready for adoption.
I wanted to share with everyone here the update on how they are doing,

Here are some pics of when they were found: (WARNING: these photos may be offensive to some)

How horrible and how great is the 2nd link. Wish I was in TX I saw a couple I would scoop up! Poor Babies. I am glad they are in hands that will assure them a better life now!

Oh, I feel so terrible for them. It makes me so sad to think a Chihuahua needs a warning to look at it, especially since the warning is needed. :cry2:

 Hugs to all these babies.

Oh, it is sad, so sad, that I spent a moment debating whether to open the link to the conditions they endured. The photo of the puppy's long toenails made my eyes water. I feel sorry these darlings had to be exposed to such a life, but I pray that loving homes will adopt them. Thank you for the update. God Bless responsible dog lovers who will open their hearts and homes.

I only saw the first poor little Chi and had to not look at anymore. :cry2: :cry2: But that doesn't mean I don't care.http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/cry3.gif

OMG!!!!!! That is so sad!! I was almost crying just looking at those pictures. The pic of the mom chi and her babies. She looks like a puppy herself! I pray that all these chi's will receive loving and caring homes after all they have been through.

I looked. It was hard. At least the story had a happy ending for most of those poor little ones.:cry2:

I plan to adopt an older chi when Gracie and Sammi go to heaven. I will be an old lady then and would not want a young pup in case it would outlive me. I would sure like an older doggie who could spend maybe 5 or so years with me as my last doggie.

I look at petfinders.org and there are a lot of older chis out there who need homes so someday I will find one of those poor little souls to be my own.

Oh, those poor babies!!! The pictures were hard to look at but important for people to know about! I'm so glad to see them healthy in the second link!

My friend Heidi is "adopting" Tally's mom from her breeder who is done using her in her breeding program and wants her to have the opportunity to be an "only" doggy-which is pretty neat and unselfish of her if you ask me considering Rita loves her dogs and has had Tally's mom all her life! Faye, you could always do something like that when its time for another chihuahua.

Yes, that is the type of thing I would want to do when the time comes. It would be good to give a doggie a second type of life when I am old it would be a blessing for us both at that time in both our lives.
