Hi everyone!
We're showing about an hour away this weekend and so far so good-Tally went Reserve (she was ROBBED, EVERYONE there agreed!!!) Winners Bitch (basically the the second best lc chihuahua bitch at the show after the Winners Bitch who recieved points toward her championshiop) and showed like a pro!
My mom is visiting from Chicago and has never seen me show, so it was a special day for all of us-especially when Heuser not only went Best of Variety/Breed, but also MADE THE FINAL CUT in the Toy Group!!! (all the BOV/B toy dogs show against each other and the judge picks the top 5-8 dogs before placing dogs 1st-4th). Heuser didn't place but made the final 6 dogs the judge pulled out of the whole group!!! It was AWESOME!!! We've NEVER been selected for the final cut and it was SO cool that my mom was there to see it! There were TONS of people who congratulated me and wanted to speak to me when we got out of the ring because it is very rare for a chihuahua to be competitive and picked for the final cut! I am so proud of my little man!
What a great (but LONG) day! We'll see what happens tomorrow, I'll keep you posted!
