Rita, Tally's breeder, called me the other day and asked me if I would help her place a special little dog that she was only willing to give up the just the right home-Tally's MOM Blanca!!! Like many breeders, Rita likes to keep her "kennel" small (she prefers less than 10 dogs so that they each get the individual attention that they need) and often places (usually for free) her older dogs no longer needed in her breeding program. Blanca is 8 and has had 4 litters and Rita doesn't like to use them more than that, so she was spayed and ready to go! The cool thing is, my manager at work, Heidi, is IN LOVE with Tally and has always said that she wants a dog just like her and if anything ever happend to me, she would want me to leave Tally to her, lol!!! So as SOON as I heard about her, I suggested Blanca to Heidi and Heidi to Rita-and we're going to go see her on Tuesday!!! Rita came into the shop to see me and ended up meeting Heidi already and said she trusts my judgement so has already decided that Heidi can have her if she wants her!!! We are ALL SO EXCITED!!! Now there will probably be THREE chihuahuas at Three Dog Bakery!!!
