I just got this in an email and thought it was important, take a look and vote NO to save the dogs!

For those of you that are registered voters in the state of Florida (or if you know anyone who is!), please pay close attention to this amendment. Not only will it legalize gambling in the tracks, it will help prop up a HORRIBLE industry that is based on cruelty. For those of you that are not familiar with Greyhound Rescue groups, next time you see a rescued Greyhound, look at his back legs and thighs. See those small round scars? Those are from the ELECTRIC PROD they use on those dogs to get them to run faster...Please Vote on November 2nd!!! AND PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG!!!!!

Dear Coco,
No on 4, the campaign against Amendment 4 (The Sunshine Experiment), a ballot question to put slot machines at racetracks, is in full swing! Grassroots activists and national animal welfare organizations are hard at work in an effort to defeat Amendment 4 on November 2nd!
If Amendment 4 passes, slot machine expansion would create a blueprint and a precedent for recovery and a means for propping up dying racetracks nationwide. The fate of thousands of greyhounds would be sealed in misery for decades to come!
With your help, we can defeat Amendment 4 and send a powerful message to the dog racing industry that their cruelty will not be rewarded!
Carey Theil, President of Grey 2K USA, a national organization dedicated to the protection of greyhounds nationwide, will be visiting communities in the state of Florida to organize individuals and groups at the grassroots level in an effort to fight the passage of Amendment 4. Grey 2K USA will be giving out activist packets, flyers, bumper stickers and more! The meetings are underway NOW and will be occurring over the next few days so make plans to attend!
