There is nothing better than jumping in the car with the chi's and driving to some far away place, today we drove to a place that only the locals know about, its called Herron Point and its about 200kms from the city. The water is at deapest only 30cm which is perfect for chi's.
Here are some pics - I know there are many but I just couldnt choose which ones I like best, hope you like them:razz:

Terri, Terry and I are both awstruck with these pictures. It's remarkable at how they are all airborn with fun and prancing through the water at top speed, like they know what they are doing/they've been here before...like they know what to do while they're here...well, except for Biff, who really doesn't get the concept they they have to ever leave this fantastic playland.
Ohhhh! The Pelicans! We happen to have Pelican Bay here. Other than the California Quail, the Pelican is Roman's favorite bird. OK, he loves Seagulls too. LOL
Do your Chi's chase the birds?
All I have to do is say, "Look Romie. Your birdies are here." And he'll run to the window and watch them. I still haven't let him loose at the beach yet. I would hope he would come back to me like your babies come back to you. Thanks so much for sharing!!!

PS Elle happens to be the queen of rolling in things, like Pascha. The more dead, the better...like Bird sh*T. LOL http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/lachen/laughing-smiley-004.gif

OMG, what a chihuahua paradise and what a special day you all had. Your pictures capture the essence of the fun each doggie was having. I can just imagine all the sounds and smells they experienced. Especially that good dead fish smell.
The Biffster looks like he can't imagine why you would ever want to leave, it being his first time there. I bet he was hoping you could move in permenantly and just live on the beach like on Survivor. I sure hope that you will all get to go back another day.
Thank you so much for posting all the pics. You could never ever post too many.

I LOVE to see chihuahuas being just like any other big dog!!! Those pictures are WONDERFUL, and even more importantly, it looks like you all had a blast!!! I am SO sad that you are so far away, that looks like a place Heuser would LOVE! And the water is PERFECT chihuahua-depth!
There are SO many "purse pooches" here in Kansas City and when they come into the store, I always encourage their owners to put them down to play with H&T and be allowed to be dogs and often times if they do actually give them a chance, the dogs are so protected and used to being held that they are terrified to move or enjoy the world on their own-its SO sad!!! I have nothing against carrying your dog around in a purse and I do it with Heuser too, but only when I have too-otherwise, he walks on the ground just like any other dog and actually prefers it!

I have stared at these pics a billion times and im not getting tired of them, its so much fun to go to places like these. The best part is seeing the chi's have so much fun, especially Pascha who normally is very lazy and lays about the house most of the time who just runs and runs with a happy face the whole time we are there. Another good part is being able to share the pics with everyone here and know you enjoy them, so thanks guys:-P
I am SO sad that you are so far away, that looks like a place Heuser would LOVE! And the water is PERFECT chihuahua-depth! Heuser would love it, and so would any other chi here, feel free to bring them 'round anytime for a bit of aussie action;-)

Oh Teri! Those pictures where awesome! I loved those.. you can tell that your babies are having a blast! I wish I could have been there too! What fun adventures you and Stephen are able to take your babies on! And once again I'm so impressed that your babies are so well trained to come and not have to be on a leash..
Fun, fun! I want to go on the next outing!

I'm struck by the warmth in your corner of the world. We'd never get Casey in the ocean here!! Such a great airborne shot!
