Hi everyonehttp://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/wave1.gif
I got this email from a friend today about posting your email address on forums, she recommeds using the one with spaces and writting "here is my email address but delete the spaces when using it"

With the new viruses going around I would STRONGLY recommend people NOT posting their email addresses on forums.

If you want to post your email address do it like this:

myname at mydomain dot com

or

myname @ mydomain.com

Spiders and Trollers scower websites and automatically pick up anything that is written myname@mydomain.com and with the latest virus they can literally 'spoof' (that is the term the techies at work used!) your email and send viruses 'on your behalf' - without the virus actually coming from you.

it also means they can send you viruses from legitimate emails.

My email has been hijacked at work recently with the new worm so I thought I would put this warning out to everyone.

Thanks for the tip Terri! So if there's spaces then those spiders won't be able to get it?

Thanks Terri!!! I just got rid of the new virus because my email address was in someone's book and she got it the way you described! So thank you so much for warning us!

My doctor just told me to install both Zone Alarm and Spybot, which are both free. I know you had told us about Zone Alarm too, Terri.
