Roman and Sheba's bitrhdays are coming up in a few weeks, 2 and 14 years old. :wub: (I'll have a birthday thread for them later on.) I would love to have a "dog party" for them on my street. Here's what I'm thinking I'll want to do, so if anyone has any ideas for things I can do ie, party favors, hats, treats, toys, for the pups who come.

I'm thinking a small dog one-on-one-drop-in party at different times. We have new neighbors who have a Chihuahua and a Yorkie. They walk by all the time. Then more new neighbors across the street have a min. Daschound (sp) puppy, others have a min pin and a boxer, and yet others have 4 weenies. I thought it would be cute to have a table cloth, place mats and setting of party favors for each that will stop by and have their picture taken. I think it would be bedlam if they were all here at once and I'm sure too risky on our 'ol home owners insurance. LOL It would all be for a picture album. I'd want it no gifts to my pups from my neighbors, but I want to send them off with memories of the doggie birthday.

I need ideas. :) I know there's been a few doggie parties here on the Club Chi Forum.

Oh and BTW, and we know or have met the people, just haven't ever had the dogs together with theirs...it's not like we'd be pulling strangers off the street! :w00t: j/k LOL

you could get a doggie cake recepie and make it...that way for each doggie that comes you could give them a party hat...a dog bone and piece of cake !!!

OH Barb.. that sounds like so much fun! Sure wish that we lived closer so we could come celebrate with you guys!

That's a cute idea Sharon. I could even make it a bone theme...maybe find something like Frostie Paws.

Renata, I better send out some airplane tickets to you all!!! Sheba wants a huge party this year.
