Stephan and went to the snowy mountains for a holiday and left our chi's with Biffs breeder who also runs a small dog boarding kennel. When we came home and picked up the chi's it was time for Biff to come home with us too... well he was 11 weeks when we got back but the breeder said he was more than ready to come home, he is heaps larger than the other puppy chi's in his litter and very lively - she wasnt kidding about the lively part LOL.
We are so happy to be home with our babies and a new edition to our clan. Here are a few pics:

Hi Terri, Oh my goodness. Those photos are stunning. All of them from the closeup of little Biff to the group shots. Seeing all four of you babies together is a wonderful gift. Don't hold back on the photos as far as I'm concerned. I loved seeing little Biff sleeping with the pack and way up on the cubby. He sure is a lucky boy to have been able to join such a wonderful family of dog people and people dogs. MORE PICS PLEASE

Awww! Terri, Biff looks so adorable! I love his chest marking, how the marking goes up around the side of his face, and how his feet are reddish in color. Nini, Pascha, and Busty look so accepting of little Biff, as if they're saying, "always room for one more". :) These are very nice pictures! Thanks for sharing!! :)

Terri, I can not stop looking at these pics. I have been going on and off line all day and looking and looking. All your babies are beauties but that first close up pic of Biff just cracks me up. He looks so so sturdy and definite about who he is. And his markings are just beautiful. It will be nice to see his coat and colors develop as he matures. Wow. Thank you so much for posting. I have enjoyed myself all day because of those pics. Thanks and love to all four chi babies, Faye

Awe!!! Terri.. Biff looks so sweet! I was wondering if you had already gotten him, I was really enjoying the weekly pics that you were posting of Biff when he was still with the breeder. The pic with all of them is just priceless! How is everyone getting along? We want stories and of course we love it when you get camera happy!
P.s... Hercules and Hummer really think that cubby is "
Da Bomb!"

Thank you everyone:wub: Its great to be able to share my pics with such wonderful chi loving people:wub:
Its amazing how having 4 chi's makes you a late person, I have never been a late person before but now im having trouble leaving the house because I cant stop playing with them. Im late for classes and work and even getting out of bed is hard when 4 chi's are having play time with you LOL.
Biff has a wonderful personality and is very accepting of new things, he is not scared of anything or anyone. He is just so sure of himself and so confident in any situation. I love this about him.
The other chi's had their first meeting with Biff just before we went away and it didnt go too well, Nini and Pascha were ok but Busty was scared stiff of bouncing puppy Biff. I was so worried that they wouldnt get along. When we brought all of them home I wasnt sure what to expect, Nini and Pascha accepted him as one of the clan but Busty was still a little funny about a new chi in the house. It took a few days and a lot of work for Busty to finally see that Biff was just a puppy and was really a fun new friend. Now Busty and Biff are the best of friends and are rarely apart. Pascha and Nini are like parents to Biff and like to show him how to do new things. Im so happy with how it all worked out, having 3 chi's was fun but having 4 is a blast and excitement galore:blob2: . Stephan is so happy with our 4 chi clan that he is already talking about getting another LOL

I know exactly what you mean about becoming a late person. When I first got Gracie I wanted to stay with her all the time and watch what she was doing every minute. I had trouble going to work because it meant we would be apart. Now in the morning I stay in bed to the last second possible because they are sleeping tucked up against me. They feel so so delicious. Luckily I live 10 min. away from my job so we get to go back to bed after I feed them in the morning.
You have a good husband there. Any man who says he wants a fifth chi in the house is tops in my book. :blob2:
And I love your updated avatar movie with the captions and how you featured each doggie. Great job.

Any man who says he wants a fifth chi in the house is tops in my book.We would love to get another chi, we would like to have a new little girl while Biff is still a puppy, its the perfect timing to get another chi puppy seeing as I spend the day at home studying and go to classes and work at night, then Stephan is home at night so the chi's are hardly alone, this makes it easier to train a new puppy chi. We put in an application to our ranger to get a special license to keep extra dogs, when we put in the paperwork for the extra license there should have been no problems in us getting it, but we have one crazy neighbour who is completely against animals and anyone keeping pets. He has started a petition to get rid of people who own dogs near him and is trying to get people to sign it. Its so stressful for this to be going on. It is affecting if we get our extra dog license. Nobody would even know if we had extra dogs because they spend most of their time inside, but we thought we would do the right thing and register ALL our dogs. To get the extra dog license we have to have the letters from our immediate neighbours stating their support in us keeping extra dogs. The crazy man lives diagonally behind us which means we have to have his support - well I dont think its going to happen:cry2: . We have letters from 5 of the other neighbours stating support, but we have to have all the neighbours support to get it. The crazy man is the only one holding up our application. Im pretty much just waiting on a phone call to say we have to get rid of our dogs or move. Obviously our choice would be to move and take our dogs. This has been going on for a couple of months - even before we got Biff, I thought there would be no problem in getting the license, I even had several meetings with the ranger to make sure of our chances of getting the license.
I tried to reason with our crazy neighbour but it didnt work and he made me so upset I left his house shaking.
Stephan and I have tried appeals and loads of paperwork and I feel like its taking over our lives. Im starting to think of just moving to stop the problem, but we love the location of where we live and its cheap for the size of the house and yard. I have a meeting with the ranger today to discuss what our options are if the mayor does not accept our appeal.:cry2:
Im going on a bit so I'll stop there, well thanks for listening and letting me vent:wub:

Terri, How about lets gets a petition to get that crazy neighbor kicked out?!? j/k He sounds awful. What a party pooper!!! Maybe in the long run, they will over ride, overrule, by pass, ...ignore him if he's a known problem. Majority rules, right? LOL If you have your Chi's trained to run in fast circles, he won't be able to count there's one more Chihauahua. I would probably just hide it, but I know you've mentioned how strict it is there where you live. Is there a way to say you're a breeder, or a rescue, or a kennel, that you have therapy dogs you take around to places, or some special circumstance? Oh, can you say you're just babysitting it for the breeder?
I wonder if this guy has a special soft spot for something or someone he loved in his life that he would relate to. Does he like chocolate chip cookies? I'd be baking like crazy! LOL
I'll think good thoughts towards your neighbor that he is capable to have a change in heart. He needs it!!!

I would hope that the majority could over-rule one unreasonable person. What if other neighbors wanted dogs too. Does your mayor have the athority to over-ride for you?:cry2:

In the beginning I tried the 'im looking after them for someone' trick and it didnt work, they know whats going on. I had to sign a heap of legal documents stating my case so I dont want to lie and get caught out.
Also my vet, friendly neighbours, Chi club of WA, and owners of the house we are renting have all signed statements as well. I dont want to get any of those people in trouble, they have done so much in trying to help the situation.

I spoke to the ranger yesterday and he told me that the mayor has asked him to write a report stating his opinion on the situation. The ranger wouldnt tell me which way his opinion is leaning towards. The crazy neighbour is making a report also - What is with him ??
I have written so many letters talked to so many people about this that when I ring my local council they know who I am. Stephan is stressed about the whole thing and told me to just give up and we will have to move. If it all goes bad then we are not allowed to have any dogs. At the moment we are allowed to have Biff here until he is 6 months old, then he is not classified as a puppy and needs to be registered. So we have less than 3 months to try and sort it out... or we have to start looking for a new place.
Oh well, im going to stay positive. Thanks for the support:)
