Does anyone have any statistics on how rare (or not) pure white chihuahuas are? Or even pure white longcoat chihuahuas?

I'd be interested in this stat :) I myself have only seen one (shortcoat).

I haven't seen any stats yet, but Anika's Felicity Mystic Delight=L, aka Dee dee, (picture of it) is a pure white long coat. She's pointed w/honduran championship wins.

Contrary to what this breeder (no longer breeding) has read on the pure whites being rare, she states on her website, Anika Chihuahuas, Dee dee stayed pure white, but she said, then again they have pure white in their pedigrees.

Hmmm...I'm not sure of the accurate statistics on them are, but I know that in the show ring, they are pretty rare. Especially if they are white with dark/black pigment. But Creams are very common and are often born looking white and then darken a bit with age-Heuser's bloodline has lots of creams and cream spotted on white that can some times be hard to see because it is so light. That is probably what Anika Chis was talking about, how her bitch didn't darken as she aged, therefore making her a pure white. Remember Gidget or Gizmo or whatever the name of that little Long Coat Chihuahua that used to be a member of CC? Wasn't he a pure white and from Sweden of something? I can't remember...

PS-I've never seen a pure white chihuahua in person...
