Hercules is in love!

It was the cutest thing last night. Hercules began chewing/playing on a stuffed teddy bear last night around 6:30.. he would stop chewing and just sit there with it in his mouth! He even feel asleep with that teddy bear in his mouth. Several times he would make a little grunting noise and I'd look over to see what the deal was if he was awake or what? Anyway it wasn't like back when he was 8 mo. and he had a favorite 'stuffed spotted dog' that he liked to make whooopee to and would do that for hours, until the spotted dog somehow disappeared by magic. ( I couldn't stand to watch him 'love' it for hours, it was embarassing) It was just innocent love for this teddy bear. :wub: Even when Daddy came home from work, Hercules jumped over to the couch to get his belly rubs from Daddy with the teddy bear still in his mouth!
He went to bed last night with the teddy bear and took it under the covers, if you tried to take it away from him he would put up a fight or go get it and wouldn't take it out of his mouth.. Anyway.. it was the cutest thing! I should have gotten pics, if he starts it again I'll snap some shots.

Here Hercules is sleeping with Teddy in his mouth.. this was over an hour ago and he's still doing it, except he's kneading his paws back and forth like a kitten!

Renata, What a cute story!! I loved reading it. :wub: Roman does that too. He falls asleep with piggy in his mouth too. Before you posted the pictures, I was even going to ask you if he did the kneading thing. Roman does that. I always tell Terry, "Aww! Look! Look!" LOL

When Elle wakes up, i'll show her Hummer's and Hercules' pictures. :wub:

They are both so cute here in these pics. I always wonder if they think these are real dogs or animals when they do this. It's just the sweetest thing in the world. :-)

That is the cutest thing ever seeing Hercules sleeping with that toy in his mouth. What a difference from the "other kind" of love. Sammi Girl has humped every plush toy in the house. She is now infatuated with this green plush toy with bugged out eyes. She carries it around on and off all day and moves it to various locations. She will cry as she carries it and sort of "talk" to it when she puts it in a new location. Her other favorite toy is her rubber hamburger. She will chew on this gently for almost half an hour, squeeking it and licking it and pawing it. She will let me take it so she can jump up for it but she worries if she thinks you are trying to take her hamburger and starts to cry. She has had this same rubber hamburger since she was 12 weeks old and has never bitten through it.

renata, that is the cutest picture of Hercules!!! Taco does this same thing with a couple of his toys. He will jump off the couch, go get them, and put them right next to him while he sleeps. They have never fallen asleep ,with one in their mouth though. What a cutie :) Hummer has sure grown also...Your babies are darling....
