Yikes, on sunday we went to Kmart, and as we were walking back to the car, I noticed that the left front tire was....well....pretty bald. With basically a hole in it!! :o A couple of weeks ago I was telling Roomie, hey we've gotta change out the front tire, it's starting to look like track tires. Ya know, looking all smooth. So we're in a panic, at Kmart which is a kind of far drive from home. So we call goodyear and they're $131 for ONE stickin' tire. So of course we said HECK NO to that, and called up sears. What a smart idea, they were way cheaper. We get there, and the guy checks out the tires, turns out every tire is running a 6, they should be runing a 32!!! :o At that left front one that I noticed, it was running a ZERO!! Yikes, huh? So we changed both the front one's $156 for both, sure as heck beats $131 for ONE!! Slowly we'll get the back one's changed.
So everyone, check your tires! I was really surprised, and THANKFUL that nothing happened to us while driving, especially with the tires being so BAD.
OH yeah, and we had something going on called "cupping" it's when your car needs to be realligned and if it doesn't the tire starts to get a funny wear on it, and that's what ours was doing. Be safe everyone, CHECK YOUR TIRES.
P.S. Anyone thought I was talking about "dubs"??
