The images are from the Sriacha Zoo in Thailand. There a 26 month old female tiger named Siamai has adopted 6 piglets, while a two year old female pig named Benjamaj nurses four tiger cubs.

I just love these pics. That is so funny seeing those fat baby pigs lined up on that tiger. And the little tiger suits are fantastic. Wow.

But I bet that those baby tigers have sharp teeth on that mom pigs teets. Ouch.

Cute little pigs in tiger outfits. :) But I wonder why they switched mothers with the babies.

But I wonder why they switched mothers with the babies. Hi Barb, im glad you asked this. I wondered this too.

Stephan was working away and sent these to me in an email, I thought they were cute and posted them here. Then I wondered why would they switch the mothers? I researched it on the internet a little and found a few sites that said the switching of animal babies at that zoo was done to bring in more visitors and to make some money. But really im not 100% sure if this is true because sometimes the internet is based on peoples opinions and not fact. I did find the actual zoo site and they have a breeding program for their tigers but I still dont know why they would switch the babies, but the zoo does have an animal circus which disgusts me and it seems to me that they dont care about animals if they have an animal circus and make their animals jump through hoops of fire - now that would be just done for profit.
Ok thats my 2 cents worth.

Thanks for finding out more Terri. I dont' know much about circus's, but can imagine. I hope these piglets aren't trained and then turned into a tasty dinner. :cry2:
