Its Biff again... more puppy pics...

We saw Biff today and he is now 4 weeks old :wub:
We cant play with him until he has had his first vaccinations which is in 2 more weeks - its so hard to wait!

The breeder said he has a very easy going attitude and likes to lay around and eat all day long - he is going to fit in well at our house http://216.40.206.219/boardimages/grin.gif

What a well fed little guy. My Gracie was like that. We stuffed her when she was a baby. We were so worried she wasn't eating enough. She grew to her maximum capacity she weighs in now at 9 pounds. I hate to say but she probably weighs more. She still gets a dog treat every time she poops on her pad plus treats by the clock. If you miss a treat at the right time of day she lets you know right away. I swear she reads the clock.

Biff is now 5 weeks old, and getting bigger by the second!
I love those ears of his, oh and he has a tiny round body - so cute:wub:
I cant wait until next week when we get to hold and play with him for the first time:D its going to be a long week waiting!

Oh my goodness Terri! He's adorable! I can't get over how much he looks like Elle's brother, Sonny, other than Sonny had a fuzzy hair that stuck out on top on his regular coat. But their shape and face are very close.

Biff looks big here until you look at his little paws--the same size as the fingernails. He looks so sweet and tiny. :wub: I hope this week goes by for you quickly so you can hold your new baby. :wub:

OK, Now Biff is really getting to look like a real dog. I love the tan paws with the dark brown body. He changed a great deal between 4 and 5 weeks. I can't wait until next weekend for more pics. We took Gracie home at 8 weeks 2 days and she was shaped just like Biff. We took Sammi Girl home at 12 weeks. It was much harder to care for Gracie at 8 weeks than it was to take care of Sammi at 12. Those extra weeks really make an important difference and are worth the wait. I think Gracie did not learn some doggie signals and play behaviors because she came home and lived with us alone so early.

He is SO cute Terri!!! It must be so hard not to be able to hold him!!! Its a good thing you will get to soon!!! Then its just 5 or 6 more weeks 'til he comes home, right?! YEAH!!!

This is the first time Stephan and I got to hold Biff, he is sooooo soft! Im now completely obsessed with him LOL
Next weekend we are taking him some new toys and are going to play with him and get to know him.

Here is Biff (in the very front) with his brother (the black and white one 2nd from the right in the back row) and the other 3 pups are from another litter and are 2 weeks older. Biff is bigger than all of them and steals all their food and bosses them around, he is one tubby puppy LOL

They were not going to breed Renae with Biff's dad until her next heat because they already had another girl chi pregnant and didnt want to have too many puppies at the same time in the house but Biff's dad jumped a fence to get to her and they were found stuck together LOL and the rest is history LOL

We are taking Nini to meet him next weekend, we want to introduce Biff slowly to the other chi's so that they get a little used to each other and we can see how they get along. I hope they become instant friends

Wow, thank you so much for sharing Biff's development with us. That pic with the five puppers just blew me away. I love how he is sitting out in front of all the others. He looks like he is surely the top dog in that bunch. His brother is so much smaller than Biff is. What a sturdy boy he is. The other litter is beautiful too. I love the black fur mixed with the tan. But Biff is the real standout in that bunch. You got the pick of both litters. I was thrillled to see you finally holding your little boy.

Terri I love these pictures of Biff! I think this has to be my most favorite batch of Biff so far. I can't wait til you get him because I know they'll be heaps more pictures to show us!! Renae is a beauty too, oh and I love all the little puppies too!

We saw Biff this weekend, we were going to take Nini to meet him but the breeder wasnt happy with us letting them meet yet. Biff is still a tubby little boy and sooooo cute
:wub: Stephan didnt want to stop playing with him! I took stacks of pics but only one of them worked out :( Below is the one that worked out, and after that is a movie that I took of Stephan and Biff with Biff showing us he can do a spin in the air - he is a riot!

Biff is really looking like a chihuahua-he is adorable!!! (you know, how puppies all seem to look the same in the first few weeks?). What a sweetheart-he definately is TOO cute and I can't wait to watch him continue growing up! I agree with his breeder that it is too soon to bring in outside dogs to him, until he is 12-14 weeks old, there is still a chance that his immunization shots have not fully covered him from the chance of catching a possibly-fatal disease if brought in by a carrier dog such as parvo. She really sounds like a great and responsible breeder and good for you for working with her! He is so sweet-just like a big bar of chocolate-I just want to eat him (okay, so maybe just kiss him, lol!)

We saw Biffs sisters new owners when we went to visit him, she is going to live with a big family and be their only dog. I wish I had remembered to ask for their phone number so that we could have chi play dates.
