We have TRIPLETS!!

Greetings from GA.....Just wanted to share the news. BB gave birth to triplets on Jan 31. Labor started around 4 pm Friday afternoon. Then 1:30 am..first pup started delivering breech, sac was broken, but John helped with the delivery. (I went balistic!) Beautiful little girl. Had trouble getting her to breathe..but we tried all the recommended actions until she finally got going. BB looked at her as if to say..Where did she come from? One hour later, second pup came head first....John helped with delivery (I was a little more calm on this one). Another beautiful girl. 30 mins later, third pup came feet first....John helped with delivery. Adorable little boy......duplicate of BB. BB & I were experts by then! LOL BB & babies are doing fine. I had migraine the rest of the weekend...Too much stress for me LOL Just wanted to keep ya'll posted on the new additions to our family. We have taken pictures with old fashion camera..so will have to wait a while to share with you all.

Tuesday 02-10-03 Just wanted to check in...Seems like we stay so busy with work, parents and everyday life....and of course watching the babies!

Thanks to each of you for the warm wishes and shared excitement, I really do appreciate the hugs and thoughts.

Ok, let's talk babies. #1 born - I seemed to have named her Agnes...I held her and cooed to her after her ruff delivery while #2 was entering the world, I kept on saying "Good Night, Miss Agnes"...like a soothing lulaby. She has the coloring of a boxer.....kinda brown on fawn color with a mask and tipped ears. Color seems to be changing gradually...So I don't want to pronouce the color and then it change....LOL





We haven't handled them very much...giving BB full charge of the triplets. I'm not going to get attached until after the breeder picks their choice of the litter. (all who believe I'm not attached, raise your hand) LOL All three are about the same size. I don't see a runt in the litter. BB has been a wonderful mama.....feeds them, cleans them, nuzzles them...my beloved baby is a good mama. Their eyes should be opening in the next few days. Will keep everyone posted..........Ladylolipop

Im so glad to hear that they are doing well.
They must be so cute, I bet you cant stop staring at them :wub:
Oh and they must be so tiny, do you have any pics of them? I just think that baby chi's are the cutest thing in the world! Especially before their eyes open and they are all wobbly and move like tiny robots!
