Yikes

Hi I have been having treatments to some UGLY veins.
Woke up this morning with a foot the size of a club!!! The bandage was too tight.
I found a Dr. who would inject my veins with a solution to shrink them rather than the one who wanted me to have them stripped. I have a condition with my blood that makes surgery a last resort.
The ones that I've done already are gone but it's a procedure that I have to have repeated every 2 months on the remaining veins.

I think I'm getting OLD.....

Bev, I hope this treatment's not painful or uncomfortable and that you're not in discomfort now. Yikes on the too tight of bandage. You must have been shocked to see your foot. :shock:

It's sounds like a good thing thing for you that there's an alternitive to the surgery with your blood problems.

OUCH.. that sounds painful! Hope you aren't in too much pain Bev! Here's hoping you a speedy recovery.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the good wishes. I am feeling better today but....I have an itchy rash all over my shin from the dang bandage. I think the bits of elastic have burnt me.
The initial shots are painful they sting and then ache. But.. that's about it.
I will look into posting pics soon.
Casey is our little Dolly and we love her to bits.

Ohh Bev, sorry to hear your veins and the procedures to reduce them have been giving you discomfort! That totally sucks. Yikes, no more sleeping with the bandage on your foot!
My aunty has a really really huge vericose vein, the human kids and I call it her snake. LOL. It kind of looks like that thing in Tremors.

Haha, oh yeah Renata she does have a sense of humor about it. She's always telling us when it looks really BIG! LOL. But it really does look like the Tremors thing. http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage05/17.gif
