Neck - Base of the neck
Chest - Chest at the largest part just behind the front legs
Length/Topline - Base of the neck to base of the tail

wowww...Boss is BIG for his size compared to Gia (ooh she's a precious little thing) and he's got a LOT of growing still to do....which brings me to a question...what about those puppies that still need to grow and will grow out of anything that may be sent to them? Can there be like a stuffed animal or chew toy like option for the little babies? if not that's fine, I just hate to get something for a baby pup and have them grow out of it and not be able to wear it.

For Kip, maybe a small? The bad thing about boys is if it's to long, they'll pee on it. It has to come above their privates. But if it's to tight, then it's uncomfy. I think I'd go with a roomy XS, and for Boss an XXS to fit now, or XS if you want it to fit longer. Or were you going to go with a toy or something for him?

Yeah I'm betting a small for Kip and an XS for Boss...I'd rather get him use to clothing at an early age. And if this is going to be a fashion exchange..I'm all for it...we can do a toy or something on the next round :D

I think XS is pretty safe for most Chi's. It may be longer/shorter, loose/or snug on some, but small is usually to big for a Chi. The actual measurements come in to play if someone is having something custom made for you. That's the only way to make sure the outfit will fit.

Meredith, you can play. Just get a Chihuahua stuffed animal and put it's measurements on here. If you got one that will be approx the same size as your real baby. You would get to play now and play dress up later.

Aww you're too sweet! Actually I *think* I do have a set name, and it's one that I've had for a while, none of the ones I've posted, but I don't want to say it and then have it not fit :) It's not a Human type name though, like Sigmund is. I was kind of on the human name trend since Robert started it LOL!

I'm not sure if Bianca's a S or XS. I don't buy much at the store. I think the last thing I bought her she was about the same measurements she is now and it was an XS. Sometimes sizes run different too.

I think usually there is a size chart on the outfit you are buying so you can have a guideline to go by for each brand. Their measurements will come in handy there too. :)

having issues finding my measuring tape, If Ivy's Mom has her measurements I am positive my pups are the same size! Izzy's tutu is the same as Ivy's. I buy xxs for Izzy and xs for Chloe at stores like Petsmart and Petco!

Those are the sizes I usually get them...Tanner sometimes a Medium (I'm trying to bulk him up!!!)
I couldnt for the life of me find a measuring tape...I just went to the craft store to get one!!!

If I don't have one I just use a piece of string since it's easier than using the tape measure in that boxy thing, and measure the string. :)

Heidi: 11" Neck, 16-16/12" Chest, 15" length. She is a bit harder as well. Between a small and Medium.
