Carrier Fetish Anyone???? *check out this catalogue*

so when we attended the agility championships a while back, i met this lovely lady who handmakes carriers. they are so gorgeous even i cant resist. i am planning on getting one (or 5 made up in the near future) they look great and the design is amazing!

I am going to post her catalogue so you can all see, i know she is in SA but she does ship out all over the world, so those of you who just have to have carriers in all shapes and colours (Meredith this is for you).... have a look at these...

Brie, definitely.

They are great, i saw some she had made and they were very dynamic and practical.
I want one in every colour. and they go for about $30 - $35 (excluding postage and packaging)...



I am definitely ordering one in the ragdoll material at the end of September (maybe sooner, if the finances work out)...

I think it may be an incredibly difficult decision.
but i think for my first one i want the ragdoll one with an orange lining and for the second one, definitely the the blue one in the picture of the ice cream ones, i think its gorgeous...


I am planning on a whole collection though (I think the carrier fetish has bitten)...

I can say that after having seen them in person, I can recommend them. They are very beautiful and practical. The lady who makes them has two yorkies and poodles and she made them because she couldnt fine anything good enough to use.

And they are oh so stylish, I may have to invest in a different carrier for every outfit!

i think everyone needs a carrier, my boyfriend said i can get some for Nooshie but nothing for Gordy (because he carries Gordy 99% of the time).... lol can you imagine a big tough guy with a chihuahua in a fluffy carrier! bwaaaaaahaaaaaa!

he is already so embarrassed because he had to carry Nooshie around on Sunday at the race track (she was wearing her big fluffy pink dress from Jane), i think it nearly killed his rep! lol

but i think Gordy needs a carrier too! i just love these carriers, i may need and extra wardrobe for carriers soon...

Yeah its amazing that she is so close, i chatted to her for quite some time at the dog show. i was so fascinated with her carriers. and because she makes them herself she can custom make them to your specs.

And she is so lovely. I told her I would post her catalogue here, if she can make some business i think it would be great, but mostly i posted it because these are really great carriers!

definitely, if you take out the little (re washable) cushion inside.... then there is more than enough space for make up , wallet, and other little bits...

But you can contact her by email, she is very willing to negotiate the fabric and colours.

well i have some news!

The woman who makes these amazing carriers, Sue, does not have a website at present, but Me being a total and utter fan of her work, I have worked out a deal with my boyfriend who does web hosting, to get her a special deal so she can get her site up and active.

I am so excited. I want to help her make her business a big success, i just adore her carriers.
We agreed that my boyfriend will help her get her site up and running and also give her free hosting for 6 months, and in return she will be giving me two carriers.

This is a very exciting opportunity for her and I hope that my b/f and i get her a great website. she said that anyone interested can contact her via email in the meanwhile or go to the online boutique that sells her bags, www.luvmyfurbaby.com

I took one in the ragdoll material (my absolute fav) and one like the blue on next to the ice cream header (the baby blue one).

The best part is that she said, because of the way she designed them that even dogs who hate carriers dont mind them because they are so snug and comfy, i will put it to the test with Gordy and see how he handles them, he doesnt like carriers much at all!

yea i went to look at that other site but the carriers seem ridiculously over priced there, i am sure you can get it much much cheaper if you contact her directly!

She is so awesome. Since i have been dealing with her, i have been nothing but absolutely pleased. She is fantastic and her carriers are gorgeous! i really hope i can help her make her business successful.
