I'm looking for a dog carrier that looks like a purse. I was wondering if any body has one laying around that they'd like to sell or trade. Don't know what I'd trade, but let me know if there's something you are looking for. I can not seem to find one of these that I like. So I figured someone on here might have the perfect one!

Savannah I had one but I sent it to Meredith. If you had only met me a couple months sooner. eBay is a great option if you can't find anything at Petsmart. Petland in Sarasota has some too, but they are pricey.

I looked on eBay, but sometimes it's hard to tell how big they are going to be and Marley's just so small. I checked the Petco and Petsmart in Port Charlotte and they didn't have anything! I'm going to Naples today so maybe I can find something. Thanks!

I think the idea of having a purse shaped carrier is so that you can take your dog places with you and it won't be as noticeable. If you take a regular sherpa, everyone knows you have a dog and it looks like a dog carrier. There are some really awesome ones out there! And I don't think anyone on here even likes Paris Hilton, let alone wants to be like her ;) it's incredibly sad that she's what sometimes comes to mind when talking about Chis :(

FYI, You're idea of fun can be taken as offensive to others. Perhaps a purse shaped carrier is safe for her baby due to her size. But I believe that's her personal preference.

I looooooove the idea of a purse thatsa doggy carry'er its super cute to see a small head pop out of one and people never seem to notice! I had one that I used for when we got in a litter of dumped puppies n 2007 they had to be with me 24/7 for feedings and no one was ever the wiser about it!

oh boy, i also bought a pet carrier at petflys.com kinda expensive but they're airline approved so you can bring that on the airplane and its purse shaped..i got the city girl one as it was the cheapest one ..too bad i didn't see that gollygear site before haha i love that purse and its dirt cheap!

I'm not sure if you have a PetCo near you, but they have a GREAT selection on carriers that look like purses. I got one for Max and I take him everywhere and no one knows that he's in there!!! I had to go to the E.R. unexpectedly the other week, and he sat quietly in his bag while they stitched me up!!! No one was the wiser... ;) I only paid $40 for mine, but I can't find it online. This one is expensive, but it sure would be incognito!!! :lol:

Are you looking for one that wraps around the dog with holes for the legs and a purse handle to carry him? There is one like that in e-bay from a company called petitude.They are an Australian company, but you bid in USA dolllars and they're listed at under $20. I know someone who has one and I was very surprised at how well they're made. There's also a site called puppypurse.com, but those are very pricey. I am trying to find a pattern to make one for my chi. Good Luck.:)
