We brought home our first chi in August 1991.. a long coat girl we named Cocoa.. By age 2, we realized and were told she had an auto-immune disease that would shortened her life.. We shared our lives with her till she was 10 years old and felt very blessed.
Our second chi, Macky, came home with us in December 1991 and enriched our lives for 14 years.. He was a tiny and wonderful little guy.
Our third chi baby, Taffy, came to us in October 1993... and was one of the smartest little girls we have ever known..She blessed us for 12 years before we loss her to heart problems.
Our fourth little guy was Junior.. He was born here.. the only litter we ever had.. There were 4 pups, and 3 went to wonderful ladies I knew personally and each of them already owned one chi.. So I picked good homes and experienced chi people to raise them.. Junior stayed with us and was the biggest momma's boy I have ever seen... I think living with his "chi mom" (Taffy) who kept him in line was a big influence on his personality. When I lost him at 9 years old, I thought my heart would break...With no previous indications of any heart trouble, he passed of a massive heart attack.
