I thought it would be fun to see what events are going on in everybodys area this summer. Jay Leno usually comes to this. It started today and Terry could hardly get into a gas station yesterday! :shock:

Hmmm...Yeah, we have lots of cool stuff happening here in KC!!!

Let's see...First, OPRAH came into 3 Dog Bakery the other day (I WASN'T there, DARN IT!!!); then, we are featured in the new series on the Food Network Channel called "BBQ with Bobby Flay" (in the kansas city episode-my boss's dog, a cocker named Bailey made the preview and the actual show), also, our pastry chef, Patrick who makes all the fresh treats, was on the morning show "Jack and Allie" and even better, we (3 Dog) participate in all sorts of community dog events like a monthly "Dog's Night Out" where customers sign up and attended an evening out at a resturaunt WITH their dogs; "Sniff and be Sniffed" where we meet at our local dog park the first Sunday of each month from 10am-1pm; and "Dog 'N Jog" THIS Sunday at the famous KC Plaza where paricipants and their dogs run a two mile loop through a park and the proceeds go to our KC humane society!

One of the BEST things about living in Kansas City is the WONDERFUL canine community and how everyone involved are truly dedicated to their dogs-needless to say, Heuser and Tally have MANY fans and have become quite the local celebrities!

Oh wow.. everyone has such cool things going on! Lys K.C. really sounds like a great place to own a dog. Maybe if I ever visit I can feel free to bring the H2's with me.

Such fun! I wish I had more dog friends here...... There is a picnic comming up in July. I will try and attend. Last year I missed it because of the RAIN!!!!!

Are you kidding?! You HAVE to let me know if you guys are ever in town!!! We'll have to meet and take the Wawas out and about to see the doggie sites! We'll stop at 3 Dog Bakery, then on to Brookside Barkery and Bath (a natural foods pet store where you can wash you dog!), and after that, to our new Penn Valley off-leash dog park!!! If you come into town at the right time, you could even bring the to dinner at a nice resturaunt for our "dog's night out"!!!

That would be great! Most of the shops on the Plaza are really dog-friendly and allow the little ones to come in as long as they are being held...That would be SO fun!

Well, Lys, I was just in Branson this week, and I tried to talk my group into buzzing over to KC just to check out 3 Dog Bakery (and hopefully see you and the wawa's), but nobody shared my enthusiasm about driving the extra distance. :? Oh well... maybe someday! Sounds like a great city to visit with the pooches.

Oh my gosh! That would have been SO cool! I'd would have missed you though, so I guess its good that you didn't though...Usually I work a few hours here or there on the weekend but was off this time! That is a long trip but maybe someday? AND you can bring Binky!!! Heuser and Tally would LOVE to meet her!
