Kelly those are awesome. You have such good taste in your colors and fabrics and embellishments. Can you make collars covered in a fabric that I have? I have this great turquoise fabric , 100% cotton. I don't like that Sammi and Happy have no collars. If they ever got out without their harnesses on they would have no id on them.

Hi Kelly, I got the pm and responded. Here is a pic of my fabric in the background of a display of a gift dress of Sammi's. The pattern may be a little large scale but I think you can find a spot on it that will look good on the collars.

Lexie and Chane's harnesses are just adorable.

Now Sammi and Happy will have harnesses from Jane and collars from Kelly!

That's SOOOO cool! It's so neat because it looks like no other harness I've ever seen! It looks so comfy because it's not around their legs and restricting their movement or anything. What a fabulous idea you came up with!!

Kelly, the harnesses came today. They are "exceptional!" I have never found any harness that fits better. These are incredible! They are made exactly to my measurements. I love how easy they are too! Just close the two velcro straps, and off we went. They are just as beautiful in person as they are in pictures! They look so cute on Lexie & Chance! Your work is amazing! Style, durability, comfort, functionabilty, & fashion all rolled into one. And your prices are great too! The leashes are just the right length, I love how they match the harnesses! Lexie & Chance even acted like they knew how cute they looked in them. They pranced as fancy as they could down the road, with lil grins on their faces. I can't say thank you enough! I could not be more pleased!!

I think your color choices were perfect, lavender looks great on Lexie and Chance is such a cute little boy in his black and white check. It's so cool to see them on Lexie and Chance. I don't get to see many of my harnesse on the dogs they are bought for. They do look like they are prancing.

Thanks Janice! These are so much easier to get on, and the pups do seem to like them way more than the other ones. I think one of the reasons is because you don't have to put things over their head. It's quick and easy. You have two straps to velcro, and you're on your way. The other thing is, they are made to fit them, and you do have adjustment options as well. I just couldn't ever find one before these that had a good fit. I also like that they are more sturdy than the ones I had.

Lori, if you're looking for a nice harness, you will be very happy with Kelly's! You get cute, and function!

I can put the names on the leashes for you and I can make most one toned. There are some prints that because of they way they come I can not. Let me know the fabrics you are interested in and I'll let you kow if I can do one toned.

I got my order today!!!! They are Fantastic! This is the easiest harness I have ever used and they fit perfect. I have tried other harnesses with very little success on my younger babies. My Chi's just didn't want to move. Today all three of the babies walked with this new harness and leash. They are so lightweight and non-constricting. It really made a difference for my brood. Leashes will now be made in all one color or pattern unless stated in the description of the harness. I have given the 5ft option, (thanks Teresa) and the option to have the name added, (thanks Twyla).

I can make simple changes like that with no problem. If you want, order the bad to the bone and leave me a note to switch the embelishment to the pawprint. It's never a problem, and I take special requests all the time.

I think I am going to call her "Salsa". She came into our clinic in whelp w/ a pup stuck in the birth canal. Her owners did not have any money, so they signed her over to the clinic. My boss did a c-section and saved the 2 pups inside. She and her pups have been at my house ever since. The pups are 4 weeks today. We really don't have much info about her at all. She is probably about a year old. Her name was Coco, but it didn't seem to fit and she really didn't seem to respond to it. She was not well socialized, so is very fearful, but is learning how to be a dog.
The day I brought her home she growled/snapped at me. She spent the night in her carrier and the next morning I had to dump her out to get her out. Then she decided I was okay. She has decided she loves me, but is VERY fearful around other people. I doubt she's ever been vaccinated and w/ her pups, I can't really take her places to work on socializing her. She's come a long way, but still has a long way to go. Once the pups are gone and she's been vaccinated, I will enroll her in an obedience class. I was originally going to get a Chi pup, so I could properly socialize it, but Salsa came along just before the pups would be ready, so I guess it was meant to be. :)

hey i think theyre mega pretty. shame im waiting until bindi is a little bigger before i buy any more harnesses she outgrows the quickly lol. im thinking of getting my cavalier one though. she is tiny for her breed and is actually only a tiny bit bigger than some chi's if i measure her up and that could you let me know if any of your sizes would fit she is...(with a little growing space. 11inches = neck

also im scared of putting a harness which goes around the neck on bindi. its fine for angel but was wandering if you done the ones that go over there front legs and then clip on their back. i would feel much safer with one like that with bindi.

hey i was just looking at the pics on this thread. i noticed it seems lower down on their neck. does this make it safer then? it seems like their fine on your chis but my vet said i should be careful of putting anything her lead is attached to around her neck because they can suffer from a collapsed tracheus or something.. have any of you had this problem. i really really want to order some harnesses from you coz theyre all too cute but im nervous of putting anything around bindis neck. she does have a collar but i never attach r=the lead to it and i only use harnesses like the step in harness but all the pics seem theyre great for your chis. arghh im so confused i think i may get one and see how she goes with it heehee. do you do puppy sizes? and how much are the puppy sizes? thanks they really are gorgeous. i told my friend about them but she worries about the neck thing too but shes considering you =D

I have made the harnesses for many cavaliers. She would take a size 17". The harness sits a little lower around the neck area and does not pull on the neck. All of the pressure is on the chest. I would wait till Bindi is older to get one if you decide to so that she isn't growing right out of it.. Mia and Stella wear these all the time and they are both tiny, about three pounds each. I have never had any problems.

Bindi, in my opinion, this is the best harness I've ever found for a Chi. Both of mine use nothing else. I have tried just about all there is to offer. The leash attaches right behind the shoulder blades. Even if you pick her straight up off the ground, the pressure will be on her chest. I know no one lifts their baby off the ground with a harness, but that's the only way I knew to explain. :lol: If you were to tug on the leash backwards, there would then be pressure put on the neck, but you aren't going to find anything that doesn't in this case. Unless there is something that goes around their neck, the safety of the product would be questionable to me. Hope this helps to relieve some of your anxieties. :)

PS~ My enthusiasm is strictly based on the product. I do have some designs on Kelly's website, but there is no monetary profit involved.

It is strong, and so much more comfortable for Chewy than his old one. And to me, it seems like I'm able to walk him better in it!

I just bought Jesus a harness from petsmart...and because his chest is 17 1/2 inches, the harness was too big for him but fit his chest. I left it on him last night when i went out so he would get use to it...instead he chewed it off! I've been waiting to get him a parkavenue harness because I already had two harnesses. Now that he chewed it, I have a chance to buy a parkavenue harness. I just ordered the camo harness. I think it will make him look tough. I'm so excited. I feel like this harness is going to work wonderfully for him!

Kelly can make them tiny, just go to her sight measure and order, I have 4 of her creations and they are amazing and I have a tiny chi and a big chi!
