Many veterinarians participate in Pet Dental Health Month and give some discounts on dental procedures like extraction and cleaning. Here's a link with more information or call you vet to see if he/she participates!

I have timed out H's vaccination schedule to coincide with dental health month so that he can have his annual exam, cleaning, and vaccinations all at once for less $$$ overall!!!

Thanks Lys! I think Alana's teeth need to be professionally cleaned. They're not bad or anything, but it would be nice for them to look a little more sparkly. :D How much does your vet usually charge for teeth cleaning?

Thanks Lys, I do need to do this, but it might have to be March or April, but still, thanks for making me aware. Roma does love his teeth cleaned with a brush every day, but still, I see a need to have them pro cleaned. 8) Thanks! Barb

Usually most vets recommend starting cleaning at two years of age with dogs that have had good dental care like Mr. Roman so you may not need to do it yet with him!

Lys, That's very good news to hear! But when we had Sheba's teeth checked in December, she had a spot like that and the vet showed us how it came off and how our brushing had help so much. :D Still, to see that on his cute little white teeth makes me shudder!

He'll be going in for his well baby check up when we get Bailey. :D
