Travel with Casey

I'm off for another weekend of elderly parent care in another city.
Casey is a wonderful traveller she is however, such a Nervous Nellie when the packing is underway!
She always gets scared we aren't taking her and sits on the pillows or the bags of food that are meant for Grandma and Grandpa.
We put pepperment oil from the Health Food Store behind her ears so the mountain altitude changes don't bother her. As soon as she's in the car, she sleeps the entire way. (Tried to post a picture but couldn't figure out how to shrink it to fit the size requirement)
I am procrastinating. I must go vaccum before I leave. I'm going, really, I'll stop talking now, here I go....Turn off the computer....

Well, I spilled a waterbottle in my purse during a freezing cold piddle stop in the mountains....
The camera is wrecked. I can't believe it. Do you know how long it took me to learn how to download pictures from that one onto the jump drive?
Oh well.

Aw, I am so sorry to hear about your camera. I have bashed up my fair share of cameras, and since I dropped my last one I have invested in camera insurance for it. Sorry to hear. :(

The bright side of this is that I see a pink digital camera in my future! I did loose a great picture of Casey and a really good one of a purple poppy though.

I did that exact thing with a water bottle in my purse and ruined my camera last spring! ARGH!! It was a new camera too!

I'll keep my fingers crossed you get the pink digital... that sounds cute!
