So we drove to Kentucky wed. from Texas and Chewy did wonderfully! He, of course slept most of the way, but he did play with his toys a little and he didn't whine at all. I was scared he would get car sick and throw up but he ate some of his food in the car and he did just perfect. Lol we had to stop a few extra times than we normally would so he could potty but he did SO good!
Just thought I would update yall since I was always asking for opinons on driving or flying long trips with your chis!
Always Tiff and Chewy!

EXCELLENT!
I'm so glad that he did well! I was worried that he would be missing out of trip with his family!
Thank you for updating us! What precautions did you use?

How long of a drive was it? That's awesome that he didn't get sick! That was my fear at first when I got Bianca, but she does really well on car trips. One time drove from our place in Colfax to Palo Alto, which is about 2 1/2 hour drive, and the moment we stopped the car in Palo Alto she threw up. But since we' ve been back there a couple of times and she's had no problem. It wierd how some dogs are sensitive to car rides as others aren't. Pretty much like a human, I guess.
It's good to hear. Now you can take Chewy almost anywhere you go!!

Well we didn't buy a carseat but he has a puppybag and then some of the time he was sleeping in my arms.
It was from Sheppard AFB to Kentucky about 15 hours! LONG DRIVE!
haha actually we will be living in Eielson AFB!

It is a small area but I think with time you'll adjust and like it :) I loved Alaska.... ITs lots of wilderness and they don't call it the last frontier for nothing :)

What good news to hear Chewy did so well on the trip. Have a great trip on July 5th. So it sounds like Chewy will probably love the big adventure. :)
