Have you had Barkley since puppyhood? How old is he? He's so cute. I love seeing him and in his Super Barkley cape! haha :D :lol: :D

Oh this is so cute! Dusty and Barkley have the same coloring! Are they good buddies? Tell us some of the stuff they like to do together! Have they been together since they were puppies! More pictures! Those were too cute! :wub:

We got Barkly at age 4, he's now almost 7. He is a retired racer from the track here in Tucson. He was raised by trainers who were very good to him and he's a fantastic dog. We just lost our 13 year old greyhound to osteosarcoma two months ago. We got Dusty two years ago as a puppy. Greyhounds are not always great with small dogs so we weren't sure how things would work out when we brought Dusty home, but Barkly just adores Dusty and they are just like brothers. Barkly is alpha and Dusty is fine with taking the back seat to power. :funny: Dusty doesn't have a big chi attitude, in fact he's very quiet and laid back and isn't much of a barker. Dusty isn't thrilled about small children but loves my 5 year old to death. He was crate trained and is happy to hang out in his crate still with the door open from time to time. it's kind of like his own special house. We have had some minor issues with him marking things and as a puppy he dug holes in the sofa a few times. :roll: he's over his puppy issues now but still marks the wall every so often. :roll: So that's a little info on my doggies. :D

Thanks for sharing such wonderful pictures! Super Barkly is great! That is so cute that they get along so well! I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your other greyhound, its a good thing those two get along so well! I've always wanted a pharoh or ibizian hound when we have a yard someday but wasn't sure how it would work with my chihuahuas-there's hope yet!

Oh Wow, that pic of your two pups is great. They couldn't be more different in structure but they are buddies of the heart. We have a group here that is called Greyhound Transfer. They help place retired greyhounds. It is so good you could get Barkly at 4 years old. Dusty is lucky to have such a great big buddy.
