i never watch this. I need this explained to me. I know kelly clarkson won the first show. Who won the second show? I thought rubin won but you always see clay everywhere.

Can someone clear this up for me?

I guess it all depends on who pushes harder and who chooses to make more public appearances. And Clay's album dropped a while before Ruben's too. I think they both sing really well though.
I'm totally addicted to American Idol, I called for an entire hour and then off and on during commercials, just so I could put my vote in for that Hawaii girl! LOL. :lmbo:

One got first and one got second officially, but they let them both win the prize of first since they were both so good. So they both won the same recording contract. :)

When I heard Clay sing on American Idol, I honestly didn't believe he should've been there. He didn't seem like "american idol" material, more of a broadway type of voice. But then I stuck my foot in my mouth when his single came out, then I went out and bought his cd! :lmbo:

We are having American Idol 3 on TV here at the moment. Im not really sure why because Australian Idol just finished. Another channel has started a similar show called Popstars and they choose a group of singers to start a boy/girl band.

I love American Idol too!! You can't help get addicted to it each week. :shock: I loved Clay from last year. I bought his CD too, and I love it!!!
