Please, Help Us With Potty Training...

We just got our first Chihuahua. Were completely confused on Potty Training. I have a 75 pound Am. Staff. Potty Training a bigger dog is way different then Potty Training a small one. I have a couple of questions.

We would like to potty train without pads or newspaper. Would it be OK for her to go outside? If so, should I dress her warmly since she is around 1 Pound.

Well, thats about the only question I have. So, if you could help I'd appreciate it. Thank You!

Hi, I can't help you with your specific question as my chi is trained to go on pads only.

But I would advise you to dress your chi warmly when they go out for any reason.

Yoshi was 1 lb when we got him and I took him outside but i live in Las Vegas so it's warmer here (50's-60's in October). He's a little over 2 lbs now and it's about 30 degrees outside at night and that makes him go pretty quickly then we're back in. He hates being dressed so he goes out naked every time and it's been fine.
