Hi! My name is Alyssa (Uh-liss-Uh) and I have two chihuahuas, Heuser who is 2 yrs. old, fawn, smooth coat, 3.25 lbs., dog, and Tally who is 3 yrs. old, white w/black spots, long coat, 4.25 lbs., bitch.

I live in Kansas City with my boyfriend Matt and am a freelance writer and part-time student/assistant for a dog walking/pet sitting/pet photography company called "Citydog."

Both me and my bf are 23, and I love showing my little ones in AKC conformation shows and working out. Oh, and I love CC too!

I'm Barb. :) I have Roman, a 1 year old Longcoat Chihuahua. His best friend is 13 1/2 year old Sheba, a Shetland Sheepdog, aka, a Sheltie. We will also have our newest addition to our family about mid March. His name is Bailey, a male Chihuahua. *:roll: He was born on January 9th, 2004. Of course, we're very excited and can't wait! :oops:

*UPDATE: Bailey sadly passed away, so we now have his sister, Elle, who is adorable; they looked alike. :wub:

My dh and I have been married 23 years, together 24 and enjoy RVing when we can. Anything we can do with our furbabies we do. If they're not allowed, we don't go.

Roman is our first Chihuahua, but not our last. We've always had furbabies in our lives and have included many large breeds and have loved them all.

We used to take in dogs who needed new homes, while remaining non judgemental towards the people who needed to find the home. I owned and operated a dog grooming parlor and taught basic obedience classes for a city parks and recreation. That was a kick--lots of fun. But I never had any Chihuahuas in either place.

:P Hi Everyone, I'm Zoe and I am 38, newly on the prowl again, after kicking my husband to the curb. My two fabulous chihuahuas are going to be the Dude Magnets in the spring time, when the sun comes out and the parks are crowded with Hottie men. In the meantime, I am mom to my son, Zachary, who is 12, a seventh grader, and brilliant, funny, and a chihuahua-lover too.
My chihuahuas are: Cookie, who is nearly 2 years old, a tricolor female, weighing 5.5 pounds. Brownie, her male sidekick, and Nascar-racing-thru-the-apartment-partner is about 10 months old, and weighs a whopping 8 pounds of chocolate chi!
I adore my Zachary, and Cookie & Brownie, and we live in Charleston, SC. Always looking for a closeby chi owner to have chi playdates with!!!!

I'm in BC Canada. I live with my hubby and 2 daughters 21 and 17. Yikes gettin kinda old there Bev!!!
Casey is our 1st Chi and I will always have one from here on! I tell my husband when we're old we'll each have one and we can push them around in a double stroller. He's very excited about that :shock: and he can hardly wait to own a double stroller for 2 Chihuahua's dressed in coats!!!!!! :roll:
My goal is to own a house with hardwood floors and take in rescues.

My name is Sarah & I read all your posts every day! Thought you were gone forever, but glad to find the forum back up.

I live in Michigan, married, 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren, & 2 fur kids!
When I was here before I had Bo Jangles, a neutered male, 2 yrs old, then we just had to get another one, as I had chi fever really bad for a little girl. I went to look at chi puppies & came back with Max, (not a girl). Fell in love with him on the spot, my husband said I can never go by myself again picking out a chi! LOL!! Actually Max picked me! He kept sitting on my foot, looking up at me. I really couldn't resist. He had a huge health problem, as he was diagnosed with Megaesophegas, however, though many dogs who acquire this disorder do not outgrow this, my baby has! We certainly went through some very scary periods with him. He is 6 months old now. Was neutered at 4 mos.

Bo was very, very jealous of him at first, & actually took 2 months for Bo to accept him. They speed chase each other around the house.
Both sleep with us, but Bo doesn't like Max near him in bed, so Max sleeps along side me.

Looking for a little girl, someday........:-)

I was always a "big dog" person growing up but my little guy Heuser changed that all for me too! I can't imagine life without him or our new little girl, Tally!!!

I was once on these boards as Lucysmom, but I lost touch with my very busy schedule. I am now back, with a new addition to my family, Ebony.

Well, first let me re-introduce myself. My name is Mariann. My husband of 3 years is Ben, and I have 3 teenage children and 2 teeenage step-children, and of course my 2 darling chis...Lucy 14 months old, fawn clolored 4 lbs, and Ebony, 6 months, all black little girl. We all live in Michigan, where the winters are a little tough on these sweet furbabies.

I am currently contemplating getting a 3rd little girl. Ebony's mother has just given birth to a litter of 5, 3 girls and 2 boys. I know if I see them, I will have to have one!!

Both girls sleep with Ben and I and are the best of friends, although sometimes Ebony wants to play more than Lucy does and she will let her know to back off. It's great to be back on the boards...looking forward to reading all the info and catching up on all the photos.

We have 2 cats, Daicey and Puss, and 2 cockatiels, Chloe and Casey. I wanted a Chi with all of my heart but got refused by my landlord, I was heartbroken :cry2: But we will be looking for a house soon and then I will get one :headbang: ROCK ON!

I'm Alyssa and I'm 24. I have two chihuahuas (we call them Wawatwosies) named Heuser (like Anheuser-Busch) and Tally. Heuser is going to be 3 yrs. old on Halloween and is a 4 lb. (with a little help from weight-gaining supplements, lol!), smooth coat, fawn, dog (male) that recently became my very first AKC conformation Champion! Tally, is a more recent addition to our house as of January 2004, and is a white with black spots, long coat, bitch who will be 4 years old in August. She has about half her points toward her Champion title and after showing this fall and winter, will be bred for the first time to produce (hopefully) my first litter of future Champions!!! I live with my boyfriend Matt in an apartment right now but am looking for a house so that we can have multiple doggies! See you guys around!

My name is Mindi (Min) I live in Akron, Pa. (Amish country) I have 2 little Chi's Chaps and Chloe'. Chaps is 2 and Chloe' will be a year old in May. I have 3 children. Callie 15½, Kayla 13and Mikal (Michael) 11. I live with my Boyfriend of 4 years - Shane and he has a son, Drew-8. I work in the kitchen cabinet industry, love to draw, write and workout. Having the pups in the house is one of the highlights of my every day. They are so sweet and funny. They aren't snippy or barky... in fact Chaps will only bark once if the door bell is rung. Chloe' only barks ats Chaps, when she wants to be left alone. She may be small, but she's feisty! Our house is always busy and full of love.. the pups are great with the kids and vice versa! I hope to meet lots of fellow chi lovers here.. I'm sure I will.

I have a 1 year old chi named Faline , a 12 year old German Shepherd, and a Westie that is about 5. The Chi is the only female and is due to be spayed the end of this month. I am so scared!

Gee, where do I begin?

Three Dog Bakery was started 15 years ago here in Kansas City by our wonderful founders Mark Beckloff and Dan Dye. It is a true story of the American Dream, Doggy Style!!! They went from corporate jobs to baking treats for their three dogs, to selling them to local customers, to opening their own retail store, to founding 35 of America's first bakery for dogs and have been featured guests on Oprah, David Letterman, Jay Leno, HSN, The Food Network, and many other programs as well as being featured on Forbes magazine and other business-related industry magazines!!!

The treats we make are human-quality, meaning that EVERY SINGLE INGREDIENT in each treat is USDA approved for human consumption and there is NO other manufacture in the USA that does that since the production cost is so high.

My name is Alicia. I am 23 yrs old, and live north of Atlanta. I was married on May 1,2004, to my wonderful hubby Josh :) We both work for my parents commercial development company, I am in the accounting dept, and he is in the estimating dept.
We have three chihuahuas. Toby is our 'first' chi baby. He will be 2 next month (Feb) He is a fawn smooth coat weighing in around 6.5 lbs.Taco is our 2nd chi baby. He will be 2 in May. He is a tricolor smooth coat weighing around 5 lbs. Tazzy is our 3rd chi baby. She will be 1 yr old in Feb. She is a black smooth coat, with a whilte blaze on her chest. She is around 4.25 lbs.
We also have a female 15 yr old Persian,named Peanut and (2) parakeets, Chester and Lester. We love our animals so much , and couldn't imagine life without them!

I love to workout, shopping, and most of all spending time with my family and doggies :) I have been a member of CC for a while now, and I absolutley love it! I want to say welcome to all the new members!!!

Hi everyone! My name is Jill and I just turned 30 and I'm from North Carolina. I have a 6 month old Chi boy named Diesel. I have a full time job in an office and I'm a part-time model. Diesel has went with me a couple of times on these shoots. He likes to go and sniff around the studio while we're shooting, but sometimes he wants in on the shot.

My fiance Terry bought him for me so that I wouldn't be lonely while he was out of town. He works for NASCAR and is gone most of the year. Diesel is such a little sweetie!! We enjoy having him around very much.

Diesel likes to cuddle up next to me at night and lay his head on my pillow. He gets very excited when I come home from work so he likes to make laps thru the house. He is a very smart little puppy and has been very easy to house train.

I've got a ton of pics I'll have to post of Diesel. He has his own little photo album that I'm working on right now.

My fiance used to work for Dale Sr. doing alot of his marketing. Then he went to work for NASCAR as a technical inspector...he was a template specialist. Now he works for a company that handles all of Toyota's marketing and advertising. They have huge transporter trucks that set up into million dollar displays. My fiance oversees all of them. His newest display is called the Toyota Interactive Garage Display. This is a display that fans can actually sit in a race truck, jack it up like the pit crews do, they can walk through the hauler...it has every race car part on display that the actual race teams have in their hauler. It's pretty interesting to see...you can watch how fast a race car fills up with gas. I think it's like 25 gallons in less than 6-8 seconds.

I enjoy racing too. The most fun is getting to go into the pits and watch the whole race from there and see the pit crews in action. My fiiance always gets me a racing radio so that I can hear the drivers talking back and forth to their crew chiefs. I don't have just one favorite driver....I know some of them so it's hard to pick just one. We live in Race City USA....Mooresville. I live right across the road from a lot of the race shops. Yates Racing has their engine building shop over there, so sometimes on Sat. morning I get woke up about 7am to the sound of race engines being reved up to the highest RPM's possible. I'll be traveling to Bristol here in a few weeks.

I live in a verry verry small town in KY.(You know the one who dosn't know who it's mayor is?) I am married to my wonderfull husband Jack. This Sept. we will celebrate our 7th wedding anv.! I have two children Isaiah who is 5 will be 6 in Aug. also. Breanna who is 3 will be 4 in July. They are the love of my life! We (my family) own several businesses. We own a Groc. store (IGA). A Pro Hardware store and last a Daycare for children. Yes I work at all three? I know it's enough to drive any sane person crazy. We also raise and show Tenn. Walking horses. So I am verry busy. If I'm not at work you can find me at the barn with the second love of my life the horses!(My husband fits in there somewhere just not shure where? HAHA). I just my first Chi. baby about 2mo. ago. His name is Chili Pepper and he just turned 7mo. old. He is such an awsome little doggy. I can't wait till show season so I can take him with me! We travel alot so I hope he likes to travel to. So far so good, He has made several trips with me to town and out shopping. I also take him with me to work everyday. Where ever that might be? He like the store the best! The girls in the Deli like to spoil him when I am not looking! Well I thank that sums me all up? I am verry excited to have found this site! Everyone here is so nice and willing to help with all my silly questions!

Hi, I live in WA state and I have a 3-1/2 pound, female, tricolor chihuahua named Capri after the beautiful Island off of Italy. She is 3 years old now. She has taken 3 trips w/me to NY by plane. She travels very well. She is just happy to be where ever I am, and I am happy to be where ever she is.

I plan weekend getaways that include activities for her like hiking trails, and running along the beach on the Pacific coast. I have a backyard, but Capri loves to walk in her harness in parks. I've been told to show her; she has a really nice stance and someone asked me how I make her do that, but it's natural to her, the way she holds herself. Yeah, I'm a proud mama.

I thought I would be met with negativity on walks, because of bad impressions people have about chihuahuas, but everyone loves her when we go for walks and they always have questions. What kind of dog is she? Everyone expects chis to be tan, is she a puppy, and that dreaded question, is she a teacup? I hate explaining that, but I made a short version up to answer the question quickly.

Hello all! I am 40 some odd years old. (Whos counting). I live in Northern Mississippi. I have a tan girl chi that is 15 months old. She weighs in at 4 pounds and is the queen of the house! My hubby travels for business, my son is away at college and my daughter will be off to college in a few months. My ChiChi will be my only company then. We also have 4 cats that live outside. As I said in another section of this forum I am owned by three Chi's. Jake who is the oldest. He is 8 and a white Long hair with fawn spots on his body. Jessie, who comes next. I work part time for an American Bank, and in my spare time I enjoi to go to the park with the dogs, I like to meet friends, I like to go to the theatre to see musicals.

Hi, in my previous message I've sent 3 photos in the first one I show you Cannella (Cinnamon), in the second one you can see Polpetta (Hamburger) the white one and Cannella in my arms, and in the third one you can see Cacao. We had taken those photos last september during a chihuahua meeting organized by the breeder where we taken Cannella. We have spent a day in a ranch with a lot of chihuahuas and three chihuahua breeders, it has been a nice day with all these little barking dogs.
Does your dogs sleep on the bed? Mine do, like you can see from the photo I've put on the avatar, Cannella the baby need to bee in contact with me, she wants to sleep always near me.

I've talken this morning with a friend of mine, and he told me that maybe, next september the breeder where we took Cannella will organize another chihuahua meeting, so, if Nicola (my husband) and I won't be on vacation (we use to go on vacation on september) I'll send new photos of the chi's meeting.
Even when we went to N.Y. I bought 3 pink harnesses and leashes for my dogs, they are just wearing in this days.

Hello chihuahua's friends, how are you? it's very hot in Milan in these days, so we can go to the park only early in the morning, the rest of the day my dogs stay at home, they use to do their business on the newspaper in the bathroom.
Tomorrow after the park, I'll go to the swimming poll with my mom and a friend of us, my husband likes to play tennis, he likes to do shopping both for tennis clothes and even for shoes (his size is 15, he is very tall) by internet in USA.

Hello! I live in the KC, Missouri area with my husband. We have 5 Chi babies and 1 on the way. My oldest is Jazzi, 7 year old chocolate longhair female, next is Flame, 4.5 year old red and white longhair female, Sandy is a 3 year old fawn with black mask and some white markings smoothcoat female, Lilly is an 11 week old lavender smoothcoat female, Rosey is a 10 week old cream with white markings longcoat female, and our little one on the way was born June 22, 2006, her name is Lynny and she is a brindle spotted on white longhair female. We also have a little boy who is 10 months, (not chihuahua) he is rat terrier and toy fox terrier mix, his name is Louis.
I have been breeding chihuahuas for a little more than 4 years. I hope to start showing in the near future also. One of these days I will get some pics of my babies posted on here.

Hi Patrizia, LOL stands for Laughing Out Loud. It is a way to let everyone know you are laughing over the internet. There is also ROTFLOL. That stands for Rolling On The Floor Laughing Out Loud. There are many other combinations. I don't know any more myself. But I'm sure that other members do know more.

The only other abbreviation that I can think of off the top of my head right now is btw, which means "By the Way". There is of course, TTYS or TTYL which means "Talk To You Soon" or "Talk To You Later". That's about all I ever use.

I think you are very lucky to live in Italy. When I was 6 1/2, I toured with my performing arts group (violin) and played for the Pope (John Paul) at the Vatican. We went to Lake Como, Milan, and Rome. My little brother walked on his own for the FIRST time in the Vatican-and my dad has a piece of the marble floor on his desk as a paperweight, given to him by one of the workers repairing a section of flooring after we figured out how to explain it to him in Italian. I kept being grabbed by locals and asked to take pictures with them because I had white-blonde hair and was little. My parents kept loosing me, lol (Keep in mind this was in 1986 before the Internet and everything)!

I don't remember too much (but "Cupola" is one of my favorite words!) but I know that I DEFINATELY have to get back there soon!!!

Yes, I played for the Pope and still occasionally play my violin. My sister is actually more of the virtuoso who toured China, Russia, Italy, and even played for President Clinton during his 1st term in the White House for a ball! Our violin school was very exclusive and full of amazingly talented children. I just kind of hung out and followed in my sister's glory. I was always MUCH more into animals and riding horses (my first love), so as soon as my parents finally let me "quite" taking lessons in High School, I did so. But I still love picking it up and playing once in a while...

My nme is Lori and I live in Atlanta, Ga. My husband and I have 5 kids between the two of us - However we are basically empty nesters. My kids are 25, 21 and 19 years old. My husband's are 13 and 10 and live with their Mother in Florida. We also have two beautiful grandsons who are 2 and 3 yrs old. So the only ones with us now at home are our 2 Chihuahuas who make our coming home fun. Lola and Paco keep us entertained. I work as a receptionist/account payable for a general contractor. I know I semi introduced us yesterday but here is a better version, a little more detail. I am Cassie, my husband is David, we have of course Izzy, and her 3 cat brothers, Phantom (13 yrs),Nos(5 yrs), and Captain Jack (3 yrs). We live in California for now but are looking at Seattle as a possibility since my husband is in the High Tech industry. We moved 2 years ago from Denver,Colorado, where I am from. We are a young active couple, and have been married almost 4 years. I am a nanny for two children a boy and girl, and they are the best!

We got Izzy on a whim, due to our failed Infertility treatments, we spent 3 1/2 years trying and finally decided to just be us! I was really down and decided I wanted a small dog, I called Izzy's old owner but she was asking a lot, and due to our recent treatments I couldn't pay what she was asking. Well later that week her owner called me, and said she needed to get rid of Izzy, her three children had been torturing her tieing her up etc, so she just gave her to us!

I am a mother of 3 have 4 beautiful grandkids a wonderful husband we will be married 17 years on my birthday May 25 that is the day we remet this is my second marriage and I found my soulmate,I am a twice brain surgery survior I had a brain aneurysm 3 months later in the hospital again brain hemmorage, I learn to walk and talk again so I am so blessed my hubby and my dogies help me so much through that time.I started out with 2 chihuahua I admit I din't like them at first but golly I am in love with the breed, I lost my dear Star and Roscoe bt have there baby Snuggles and we just bought Izzie in February. I love the beach and love to travel ,i love to crochet when time amit it was hard relearning that and I love this board. Patty

Hi, I joined the other day, so this is my 3rd post. Bandit is my chi,he is black & tan,has tan pips. Weights 6 lbs but acts like he is a 100 lbs.He loves to go right under the cover on our bed.He handles the very cold temps in the winter when he goes potty,I wrap him in a towel and he has his own little hot water bottle. Even in -40c he will go out but I tell him go use your pad.I am in northern Alberta Canada,and have been married 35 years, have three grown sons,two grandkids {4 ,6} one on the way in Oct. Peggy

My name is Deb, we live in Georgia, have been married to hubby for 18 years...(second time around for both of us), between us we have 4 grown kids, 5 grand daughters and 1 grandson. Hubby's 3 kids are all married, and mine is 25 and he is still single... and working on his Masters degree.
We have 8 chis, 2 pugs, 1 yorkie, a retriever mix, 3 cats, and 4 budgies. We are both 59 and retired. I am just getting started in raising budgies (hopefully) if they cooperate.. Hi! My name is Annette. I'm oiginally from Ponca City, Oklahoma but moved to Denver 12 years ago. I have 4 children aged 32 through 17 and a grandaughter, age 7. My fur babies are Lhasa Apsos mom and daughter, Button and Lulu , 1 Shih Tzu, Jia Li & Zeek, the cat. I recently became the Grandmom of two chihuauas Bentley and Terrell. My oldest daughter, granddaughter and I went to pick up a chi for my younger daughter and there were two little boys. When I saw my older daughter's eyes light up, I had to get one for her too. They have stolen my heart. My other granddogs are Ollie, a Jack Russell, King, an American Toy Fox Terrier and Sadie,a 1/2 Lab, 1/2 Pit Bull girl that is the biggest sweetheart. i dont think i've done this yet lol. Hi! i'm maiko. i'm 19 and i live in the philippines (manila). im either at my condo in fort bonifacio or my parent's place in q.c. I'm filipina and japanese. i go to school in Enderun colleges which is near my condo, im taking my BS in international hospitality management with a major in culinary arts. we are partners with the Alain Ducasse foundation and Le Roche. I'm also an entrepreneur. i have 2 companies, one that does money lending and the other does apartment rentals. i have a bf who's 24 and he lives in burbank california. he's spanish dutch and is currently working for the simpsons as a character designer and animator. we've been together for more than a year, taking turns to visit each others country. we spent our anniversary in japan during cherry blossom season. :)

we have 2 chihuahuas (who are under my care). my 1 year and 5 month old baby Loki. who was a month-sari gift from him and our new baby 2 month old Kibbi.
