Hello everyone. I just found this and I will update everyone on some info on Jesus and I. My name is Carol and I am 24 years old. Jesus is about 16 months old right now. He's my first Chihuahua and he's everything I thought he'd be and more. We live with my boyfriend Matt who is 28 years old. We recently moved from Fall River, MA to Johnston, RI. I graduated with an Associate Degree in Networking and I currently work full time for CVS Corporate.

Jesus was abused at a very young age by an ex-boyfriend. He suffered a broken leg that required multiple surgeries at the age of 3 months old. He was kicked down the stairs. :( Because of that jerk, Jesus will have arthritis at a very young age. Jesus is the reason why I left. I can't even imagine my life without Jesus. We are both much stronger because of our past. Jesus had a lot of trust issues. He's afraid of the stairs and men. He will not go up or down the stairs if someone is on them or waiting at the top. The fear of men has gotten a lot better but I am afraid that he will never get over his fear of the stairs. Jesus absolutely loves Matt and wouldn't trade him for the biggest steak in the world. I believe we are both making a lot of progress with Jesus.

Jesus has changed my life and I owe him everything. :)

Hi Carol! Very nice to meet you, again. LOL. Wow, when you think about it, Jesus was your life saver. If it weren't for him, you may still be in that situation with the ex and who knows what could have been done to you. I am glad you are out, that is no way to treat an animal. :( Jesus has your love and that's all that matters. Welcome aboard!

Hello - my name is Colette. I am 30 and my husband is 32. We have been married for 11 1/2 years and have four wonderful kids - boys (11 and 8 ) and my girls (2 and 1). I finally have a chi which I wanted since I was a little girl although she is smaller than I imagined, I love her just the same. She is currently 1.6 lbs at almost 6 months. I'm hoping she grows some more because at this point I'm not comfortable with walking her or letting her play outside with her brothers. I also have a 5 1/2 year old maltese and a 5 1/2 year old mixed terrier (I think that's how old he is). We adopted him from our local animal shelter so that is what we and the animal shelter have guessed. I have a career in computers and currently going for my masters in Security.

Hi from Mojo and his momma. I'm 18 years old and a first time chihuahua owner. I recsued my dog from a crazy chinese lady that lived down the street. She had her dogs breed but wanted to drown the puppies when she didn't get them all the colors she wanted. Both parents were chihuahua's and so I bought all the puppies from her for 500$ (there were 3) and kept one but gave the other two to the humane society and turned the lady in. Mojo is only 7 weeks old and has been with me for 2 days. On tuesday I'm going to take him to the vet for his vaccines. So I'll need all the help from the experienced owners here :3.

Welcome to CC! I'm so glad you were able to rescue those puppies! Were looking forward to learning more about you and Mojo. He's very young so I'm sure he's going to be upset if you get out if his sight. I also got my first chi at 7 weeks, he's always got to have mommy within is sight..Congratulations on being a new chi Mommy! It's the best!

oh darn people are so sick.i went to but my nana a kitten after her cat died, turns out she really didnt want one coz she couldnt bare loosing it...im glad i went though because i bought one and she asked me do i know anyone else who wants a kitten else she is putting them in the woods for the foxes to get.. so i took them all they wer only between 3-5weeks old a few of them couldnt even tiolet on their own nor lap milk. she was keeping them in a box in a dark chicken shed and 2 had been attacked by chicken and they were seperated from their mum.. next week i see yet again another ad for kittens from her so i ring her up yet again homing them beween 3-5weeks old but they had all gone before i could take them. told hershe needs to have her cats neutered and if not i was reporting her... i reported her anyways lol

people can b soooo cruel. im glad you got the pups

I'm a new member named Amy. I'm 29 and live in Burlington, Vermont with my first Chi (& first dog as a grownup), Max, who is 4 months old. (My boyfriend lives with us too :lmbo:)

Right now I'm not working because I have severe carpal tunnel and am "disabled". I really shouldn't be typing too much... but I also have a lot of time on my hands... so here I am!!! :) I'll be having surgery sooner or later to fix this stupid mess!!!

I do feel blessed that I'm able to be a stay-at-home Mommy to Max. :wub: His training is going REALLY well and it would be hard to leave him every day to go to work...

Piper.. the love of my life just turned 6! She is verrrryy moody..but I love her!

Ally.. who will be turning 7 in January seems as though she never got out of her puppy stage! She is a GREAT babysitter to watch over little LuLu!

LuLu.. the baby of the family is so spunky and sweet and at times a monster! I look forward to seeing her when I wake up and cant wait to see her when I get off work. She is a very happy,healthy baby oops I mean Chihuahua :flower:. I cant ask for more! Although I will be on cloud 9 when the teething stage is over!!

I am fifteen years old and ofcourse a student but i also do occasional acting jobs,

I have one chihuahua called poppy, she is 12 weeks old, loves hugs and is very pretty,
