I'm here. 8) Being home here alone is our favorite thing to do if we can't be out and about in the travel trailer, which is our persent for every holiday and celebration for at least the next 10 years. So I've been screaming around the house playing with Roman. Then it started to hail hard, so I told Roman's dad to open the front door and let Roman out on the porch. I said, "He won't go off the porch alone while it's hailing." I was bare foot and there I was running across the yard all the way to the fence where he was looking for his kitty cat he loves and adores through the window. And it's probably the one who bit Sheba on the :moon: last month. So I sprinted and am just getting my breath back. LOL  We had real potatoe chips today. :lick: I got a very nice card that Roman wanted to eat since there are two teddy bears on it attached on a spring, so it will move a lot. Roman's in love with the teddies. So We've had a very nice day. I didn't get a box of chocolates. I shouldn't have told him not to get me any.

Valentines day I had to work all day, but when I got home Stephan and I watched Finding Nemo toghether and ate a huge roast and salad, then we had tickets to the soccer so we went there at night with some friends, and our team won 2 to nil. We are saving our money for snowboarding holiday later this year so we decided to not get presents for each other (I think his presence is enough anyway).

Stephan left for work this morning (sunday morning) his flight was at 5 AM!!! But Im just glad that we got to spend valentines night together. He will be away for a few weeks and im going to fly over and meet him there for next weekend. I only wish the chi's could come.

Barb, did you get pelted with hail? Ouch!
Terri, are you and Stephan going to be snowboarding somewhere else in Australia?

Terri, are you and Stephan going to be snowboarding somewhere else in Australia?Hi Jenjen,
So your a soccer fan too?Yey for soccer!
There isnt anywhere that snows in the state that I live in, there is really hardly any places that snow in australia apart from some places on the east coast. We are going to Canberra on the east coast and then on to a place called Perisher Blue where there is a ski resort - YEY for snow! Its not until August though, so I will have to wait till then. I dont mind cause im going to the gold coast (Queensland) next week!

We were going to go out with another couple for dinner, but we all went out during the day looking for motorcycle accessories. ( our friends, just got a new Honda Goldwing, this week too) so the guys were so excited about trying out there new bikes, that while the girls went to lunch and did girl talk, the boys went riding in the cold. We then decided since traffic and resturants were packed! That we would postpone our dinner to another night and we stayed in and watched movies!

Children's soccor is big here. Our little 7 yr old neighbor girl looks so cute in her black and while uniform. There is adult soccor too, but more of a private club type. I'm sure they wuoldn't mind if we went to watch, but not really sure about that.

Jen Jen, yep, but it's small hail, and I never hit a dog pile with my bare feet either. LOL Roman thought it was funny when it hit him. 8) mmmm Mexican food! :lick: yum!

Crystal, Did you get to be with Britney for Valentine's Day? All of your pictures with Brit on your pink blankets would make such a cute Valentine card. Oh! You get monday off for President's. Day, don't you?

Terri, Have fun on your trip! :) You're so lucky you get to travel to all those wonderful places. Does Stephan always travel on his job? I used to ski, but never snow boarded. That seems like it would be much harder, but some friends of ours say they like it much better than skiing.

Renata, That's so much fun to go shopping for accessories. We did that when we got the trailer. They think of everything I would have never thought I needed. LOL :D 8) That worked out that you got to be home at night with Hercules.

Thanks Barb,
Im so excited about going away but hate to leave my chi's. Stephan travels heaps with his job and is away 50% of the time, he has been doing it for nearly 2 years and in the beginning it was exciting but now we both dread it, his work pays for me to go too if I want but its not always easy to just drop everything and fly away, I usually get a couple of good holidays a year out of it. He is planning on doing this job only till I finish university so we will get as much as possible out of it while we can.
I have only seen the snow when I was in Germany so im excited to see it again and try snowboarding, someone told me its like skateboarding.

I would think snowboarding is a bit harder than skateboarding. At least with skateboarding you can move your feet around a little more, but with snowboarding your darn feet are connected to the board! LOL LOL. :lmbo: But it looks like so much fun, knowing me, I'd probably come back home with a broken hip! LOL

Hi Tracy
Its good to know that there is someone else out there that knows what its like, nobody really knows what its like until they have to live apart, I always tell people its like an emotional rollercoaster.
He is a draftsman and trains people to use specialised drafting software, he is VERY good at what he does and there is nobody else in Australia that can do what he does so he is a busy and wanted man. He has just trained a guy to do what he does so hopefully he doesnt have to go away as much this year.
Its hard to be with someone that goes away all the time but he has been going away for about 2 years now and were getting used to it. It can be annoying though for organising things, once I thought Stephan paid the phone bill and he thought I paid it then he went away and we forgot about it and the next thing you know our phone was disconnected! We are pretty organised now. It has its perks too, if he goes away and I am free to go too then I get to tag along and the company he works for likes to make sure that employee's partners are looked after so they always pay for everything including flights if I go along.
