Last night when I came home from work.. this was sitting in my spot in the garage! My hubby had purchased a Sportbike earlier in the week, even though I told him I probably wouldn't be comfortable riding on it cause of my back.. he told me if I wasn't comfy that he'd get me a scooter this summer.. Well the stinker had already had it all planned..
Here's my new Honda Silver Wing Scooter.. I can't wait to ride it.. now I need the weather to get warm.

Thanks everyone. I did ride it on Friday just down the street and back. It's so much fun!!! But it's also so cold outside!!!
We went yesterday and I got a matching helmet, and I got Spencer a riding jacket with matching gloves for V-day.. I felt bad about only getting him cologne after my gift. Anyway.. it was fun and I can't wait for warm weather so we can go riding. I need to get Hercules some Doggles so his eyes will be protected. I'm going to strap him in his front pouch and off we'll go!

Barb.. when I was growing up we had an RV and my dad had bought a trail bike / scooter for me that we put on the front of the RV.. it was great for when we stopped somewhere! Ya'll should look into that!

We've been watching "American Chopper" on the Discovery Ch. We get such a kick out of it. Has anybody seen it? It's somewhat a reality show about a father and son who make custom Choppers for the stars and rich people.

Renata, I thought of you today when it was on. LOL Yours sure looks bigger than a scooter! It looks full size, unlike the little Vino I want.

WOW, what a gift!!!!!! Gage got rid of his Hyabusa this past fall, thank God!! That thing was waaaayyy too fast for normal street riding. We want to retire one day and have harley's!! I want a v-rod!!!

My brother has a few bikes, busa and two others I think. He also has a bike strictly for racing! Vrooom vroom! Gotta love that "two-steppin" noise! He and his ex used to go riding all the time and she also has a bike strictly for racing too, although never ever rode it! I'll get pictures of it and show everyone.

I'm hoping that Spencer will sell the "HI Booty" as I call it. Before too long, if it doesn't kill him first! Originally we were going to trade our cruiser ( Mean Streak) in on a Honda Gold Wing. But.. I guess Spencer wasn't quite ready for that! He's always wanted a sportbike, so let's hope he gets this out of his system quick! I know he got my Silverwing, cause with my back problems there is no way I could have ridden on the back of that sportbike without being in big pain.

"HI Booty" :lmbo: That's a good name for it Renata! :lmbo: I've been on the back of a sport bike and man, my shins! Ouch! I got off at the gas station and was hunched over and my shins felt like they were going to pop out or something! :lmbo:

I know about the back problems and that bike was horrible to ride on! I also have a scar on the back of my leg from that darn thing burning me! It wasn't comfortable at all, you had to lean forward the whole time! :roll: It was way too fast too, so hopefully the next one will be a little more comfortable and slower!!!

i have never been on a bike before..and my older step sister got into a motercycle accident abou 2 years ago..and she was hurt very very badly..so i will never get on one of those things in my life....

Gage saw that pic and LOVED it, do you have more pics of his bikes?

Renata- Gage wanted me to ask how well you keep up with him on the scooter to his Busa?!!!!LOL He loves that scooter too. Can you take a pic of his bike also. Gage loves seeing motorcycles, especially the Hayabusa's?

Tell Gage that Spencer isn't supposed to go real fast so that I can keep up with him! My silverwing will go up to 120mph.. so hopefully I can keep up with him. We will do more backroad than hwy riding.
Also.. Spencer ordered all sorts of accessories for his bike, carbon fiber exhaust, new tail stuff, chrome wheels, etc.. I'll take a pic of it once he finishes putting all the new stuff on it. I asked him if anything was going to be on it that was orginial! I just don't understand these men, they buy a perfectly brand new bike and then change it all up.

Gage wants to see that bike Renata after he is done. He is sitting here right now like OMG, chrome wheels, exhaust pipe, etc. he is going to be putting another $20,000 into that bike soon, so watch out girl!!! LOL
