Rico has been going to school for the past 5 weeks for dog aggression! What a time we have had. Tonight he did a great job. The first night he was so scared we spent the whole time walking around.
Basically we are teaching our dogs to relax. They work themselves up and they need to trust us and relax. One more week until we sign up again. They say we need to take the class for about 3 sessions...

Its good to hear that he is doing well in class. My chi's went to obedience class and only Nini passed (Busty refused to go through tunnels, and Pascha hated every second of being near the other dogs, oh and I always got in trouble for picking my dogs up and carrying them!)
Is Rico an agressive dog?
Are there other dogs there, other chihuahua's?

HAHAHA!!! I told Matt that you were taking Rico to school and he suggested BOOT CAMP instead!!! HAHAHAHA!!!
Guess those two just didn't hit it off, huh?!!! HILARIOUS!!!
That's good to hear that he is getting better around all those dogs, by next year he'll be ready for Matt again!!!

Roman needs this class! He unleashes on huge dogs - sounds vicious and may get himself into trouble with it one of these days. But when he met his family of Chi's, he was scared to death, never barked and went along with all the play they wanted him to do. LOL How strange. LOL :?

The tunnel is only for puppies and at the end of every puppy class they got us to put our puppy at one end of a big straight plastic tunnel and we sat at the other end of the tunnel where our puppy could see us, then we called our puppy and he was supposed to run through the tunnel.
All the other puppies there loved the tunnel but Busty was freaked out by it. Busty normally loves tunnels but we didnt push the issue, the instructor gave Busty a little badge with a star on it for trying. I think Busty only cared about how much polony he could eat while he was there anyway.
