Thanks for posting this, Sandy. I'm going to pass it on to a few of my friends here who might be interested or could pass on the info. I just emailed one friend already! She just rescued a sweet little Chi, and lots of her friends are asking how they can get one. :D

Sandy, I have a friend trying to get through to the email address and can't. She wants to know if there is anymore information? It sounds hopeful! Let me know if you have any suggestions for her. Thanks, Barb

Me too! She's the best new Chi mommy! But even if she doesn't get this baby, at least you told her about Rosie, and my friend will know there are more to come. I've known her since she was 5 and I was 7!!! I know her well and that she makes a great Chi Mommy. Thanks for post ing about this baby, Sandy.

I just received an email from my friend. The Chi has already found a home in San Diego, California. She was :( but :D and thanks you Sandy for letting us know about Rosie. She's still interested if anyone hears of any more Chihuahuas in need. She's become one of us. One Chi is not enough! LOL
Thanks Sandy.

Jen, That's a great idea, and I'll tell her. She could at least put her name in. Our shelter needs major improvement. :( They don't even want cats anymore. :x That was in the paper yesterday. :( They are mostly all large dogs, and that's where we've bought a lot of ours though the years.
Thanks for the great idea!!! I'll bet there are a lot a places she could find rescued Chis. The good thing is she works at home too. :D

You're very welcome Barb! This is the address to the CRT http://www.chihuahua-rescue.com/ I don't know if your friend can really afford the adoption cost for the crt in california, it's $175, but if she ever wants to rescue another I think this is a good place to look.
Wow, not taking in anymore cats, that's pretty sad. But I guess a lot of it has to deal with the cost of housing animals and feeding, etc.
