Sooooo, how's the new car doing? And how are you doing with the clutch? And for the most important question, does baby like the new wheels??

Hi!! Sorry i couldn't update earlier..finally found some time to myself. I didn't end up buying the Lancer because the service there was HORRIBLE. They never called me back to tell me how the financing went and when I went in to ask to know what was up, the finance manager was giving me attitude and slamming the phone down and other things! I told them that I'd be in to get my deposit for the car back, the business manager said that that'd be fine, they would charge the 1000 back into my Visa. So I drive all the way down to the south side (I'm in the north), about a 40 minute drive to find out from the manager that they changed their policy a long time ago and that only cheques could be issued and that HAD to be mailed out. I was FURIOUS. BTW, the identity theft thing was a mistake also - the comment was for someone else. So it took me exactly one whole week for them to tell me that they couldn't approve me for a $24,000 car but yet, that same day, I went to Mazda and applied for a Mazda 6 Sport, $35,000, and they approved me immediately.

Needless to say, I am going to tell everyone about that car shop's customer service!

I am struggling with the clutch haha. I keep letting it go a little bit too fast and keep stalling. It's quite embarrassing. Loppi hasn't been in the car yet, I got it last week and have only driven it three times around the neighborhood to practice. But I bet she will enjoy leaving bits of her furs all over the place LOL.

The s.o.b.'s, I hate when they treat people like that. Mazda's are nice cars too, I had one in the early 1980's, before anyone here knew much about working on Japanese cars, but now there are so many good Japanese car mechanics. Well it sounds like it all turned out for the best anyway. That place would have been nothing but a pain in the butt to deal with, for servicing, etc.

You'll get used to that clutch.

And btw, for the doggie hairs, I keep one of those swifters in the car, under the seat and just give it a once over now and then. Normally it doesn't bother me, only when I am wearing black!

OKOK! YAY! I finally mastered manual driving. Well, not MASTERED, but I'm driving without stalling and the shifting is getting pretty good :D I take Loppi out for drives and she likes it haha.
