Two weeks ago I was up at the Farmer's Market in our town and there was a lady there that was selling lavendar and some watercolor pics. We'll I absolutely love watercolors and so I asked her if she could paint my puppies. She was unbelievably reasonable! $50 for a 8x10 picture and she had it done within a week! I'm thinking I'll have the cats picture painted too!

How ADORABLE!!! What a great idea - I have a friend who is a wonderful artist...maybe I'll have her do one of Chlonuts and Lucy! (or...Lucy and "Ethel", as I have begun calling them when they get into mischief together!)

omg how cute one of my friends does oil and i was thinking of asking her to do one of my boys when they get older really cute now to find a place to put it

Renata,I love that! And yes, it's very reasonable. Our town just held it's annual Fine Arts Fiesta and originals go for about 4 or 5x that at the Fiesta. Btw, your flower beds are gorgeous.

I've asked the artist to do one of my kitties too. That one should be ready next week. I thought it would be fun to have both portraits to hang in the house.

This is a darling painting Renata. Do you have the kitty one yet? She did a great job capturing Hercie and Hummie. :)

Thanks everyone. I should have the one of the kitties this weekend.I'll take a pic and post it when I get it! Just hope Hobby Lobby is still having 50% of custom framing.
