We didn’t get to go.
Samson sucked up a desiccant pack out of a shoe box Friday night. You know, those little packs that say “DO NOT EAT.” We caught him in the act, thank heavens!!!! Well, with vet advice, we squirted drug store hydrogen peroxide down his throat and induced vomiting. He was still PO’d Saturday morning. (Even though we sat up with him all night long, he still saw us at those nuts that were bragging on him every timed he puked.) We delayed puppy school.
He did eat STEAK Saturday. And all is well. I called to check on him today, and he barked his hello to me over the phone.

Oh No. Poor Samson! I'm glad Samson is alright now and feeling back to Chi norm. And here, I just joked about that packet in the Seinfeld epesode thread, Elaine putting that in the veggie dip at the snooty boutique.

I had no idea it's good to have hydrogen peroxide on hand for this. We always have it for cuts. I'll have to find out more how you did this. Although I am careful with meds, I know accidents can happen, and I have been lucky so far, but Roman got into cough drops one day, but again, I was lucky and he mostly ate the paper (he's always loved to tear and eat paper). I'm usually prepared for ER's, but lately, I'm not, and isn't that when they happen? LOL

Oh Boy have we been through that TWICE now!!! Kishi, my yorkie has gone through obediance training on 2 separate ocassions and though she did learn a few things, she will NEVER be able to walk like a normal dog on a leash. I think Lucius sat a laughed at her while watching me try to make her "STAY!!!"!!!!!LOL She did however LOVE the obstacle course and would complete it all when the big dogs would not even try!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

Casey failed her first attempt too. She has already run across the road this season. I think we will try again because I cannot trust her!

I think we may try some tricks out of a book. Chi’s for Dummies. LOL

I have to say, he has us WELL TRAINED. I snap to, and give him a dog bone on demand!

That is so funny. I just know that Gracie and Sammi think they have trained me to give them a dog treat every time they poop on their pads. I make a big fuss when I find poopie so they must think I just live to pick up their poop. Oh, and I'm warm to sleep on too. Aren't they lucky.:-P
