no not what you think! We are still concerned about rico's coat. The vet gave us some vitamins. We need to monitor it until april. If it does not get better he will need to have a skin biopsy! The breeder gave us some shampoo to help with his hair.

We stayed and talked to him for 2 1/2 hours! I like going there to see the babies. He actually has ricos sister(litter mate) for his first pet. He only had 1 puppy that was 3 months old. It was so tiny! I could not believe it. He had 3 puppies that were 3 weeks old and he has another litter coming in a few days.

This was also the first time seeing lola. He could not get over how cute she was!!!

He said that he is planning on moving to Houston soon. FYI: he does ship puppies. He said he has shipped 2 and he does it at very reasonable prices. If anyone is interested let me know. I can help you pick one out!

By the way I always tell dan that If we get another puppy I want one with a stripe down its head....What do you know - this one had the stripe. They named her little cow in spanish. She was such a doll. He is keeping her for a 2nd pet. I guess his dog tiny and her get along more than any other dog he has seen!

I wish I could get another one!!! We dont have money, space or time. I think it would be a lot harder wtih three. We are always carrying them around. I dont think I could handle 3 by myself. It seems that I am by myself carrying them around!
I also found out that

Aww rats! I thought you were going to get another babe! I guess 3 little ones would be kind of hard for you to carry around all by yourself. LOL. I hope Rico's coat improves soon though, that way you won't have to go in and have a skin biopsy. Poor baby. Let us know how his coat does with the vitamins and shampoo.

I hope the treatments help. I had to consider how many dogs I can carry around too. LOL Two's for sure enough, and especially three when having to lift them all out of the car, keep their leashes straight on walks, etc. How many many can you hold on your lap while typing? LOL

That's so cool you got to see the chi family! :)

Oh, I hope Rico's coat gets better. Is it getting worse, is the hair falling out? Did he say that any of his other dogs have had this problem? I hope all works out. Please keep us informed. As I mentioned before about a month after I had Lu his hair and skin was starting to get bad, he had mange from his mother, who had no signs at all!
I hope that this treatment will work for you little baby.

Three dogs!! I know what you mean with 2. It seems so hard to take them out b/c we have to carry them most of the time and it seems to get a little stressful especially with Kishi wanting EVERYONE to pet her!

Oh I thought you were going to tell us that you were getting another chi!

But I do know what you mean about time, money and space with having 3 chi's... the time thing is not really a problem because the housework just takes a back seat ! LOL... Its a juggle to sit with 3 chi's on my lap but I wouldnt have it any other way. Oh and the space thing - we have NO room left in our bed! Im always waking up on the edge of the bed with 3 chi's and a husband stretched out in the middle - but its still a lot of fun.

I hope the shampoo works for Rico.
